Arsenal v West Ham League Cup Betting Preview
Venue: The Emirates

West Ham have suddenly found some revitalised form under new manager David Moyes, after comfortably defeating Stoke last weekend after an impressive victory against Chelsea and deserved point against Arsenal. The two sides have only recently met in the league which saw a boring 0-0 encounter in which neither side really looked like gathering all three points. One of the sides has to win here, whether it be in normal time, extra time or after penalties. Rather unsurprisingly, Arsenal are the favourites here although it would not be a huge shock to me to see The Hammers qualify for the semi-finals.
Arsenal had to turn to youth academy product Eddie Nketiah in the last round to score a brace to see off Norwich City at The Emirates. The lack of comfort in this win over The Canaries makes me wonder whether Arsenal are thoroughly trying in this competition and whether the odds of 1/2 are incredibly harsh on West Ham. Odds of West Ham or draw at 13/8 seems to contain value.
Potential Arsenal Starting XI: Ospina, Holding, Mertesacker, Debuchy, Kolasinac, Elneny, Coquelin, Nelson, Walcott, Welbeck, Giroud
