Visitors Sheffield United currently sit in third-place in the Championship, three points off Leeds and league-leaders Norwich City.
The Blades have struggled for consistency since the turn of the new year, but they will be keen to build on their win against Bolton last weekend, as Chris Wilder and co look to get themselves back into the top two.
Sheffield United have won of the better away records in the Championship, winning seven and drawing three of their 15 away games.
Villa will be without Axel Tuanzbe, Henri Lansbury, Jack Grealish and Orjan Nyland who are all sidelined with injuries.
James Chester and Andre Green are also doubts for the game with the pair recovering from their respective injuries.
Chris Wilder won’t have Kieran Freeman or Jake Wright at his disposal with the two out with injuries while striker Scott Hogan isn’t available to play against his parent club.
