Brighton v Bournemouth Betting Preview
Venue: The Amex
Channel: Sky Sports Main Event
This south-coast derby, live on sky sports, doesn’t exactly promise a thrilling encounter with goals and controversy and from a betting point of view, offers very little in terms of value. The Seagulls have exceeded many people’s expectations whereas despite Bournemouth’s unhealthy league position at present, they are still going well for a club of their stature.
Bournemouth picked up an incredibly valuable three points at the weekend to end Sam Allardyce’s unbeaten run as Everton manager. Before that, they had no win in 8 at we’re really being dragged into a relegation battle. Brighton’s positive start to the season, especially at home, has given them room for struggles which will inevitably happen towards the tail end of the season. If Brighton and Bournemouth both stay up it will be a minor miracle, although I’d expect at least one of these south coast teams to plummet to the championship.
Potential Brighton Starting XI: Ryan, Schelotto, Duffy, Dunk, Suttner, Kayal, Stephens, Propper, March, Hemed, Izquierdo
Potential Bournemouth Starting XI: Begovic, Smith, Cook, Ake, Francis, Ibe, Cook, Gosling, Fraser, King, Wilson
