Celta Vigo face Levante on Saturday at noon in a game that has next to nothing to play for other than pride. Both sides are currently on 46 points and they sit mid-table, but a victory for either one of them could see them move up as far as 11th place.
After a humiliating 6-0 defeat to Champions League finalists Real Madrid, Celta will want to get back to their winning ways and end the season with a victory after failing to secure three points since the first week in April. Levante will be looking to continue their sensational run of games, having only dropped 7 points of the last 33, including a very hard-worked victory against an undefeated Barcelona side.
The mid-season appointment of Paco López proved to be pivotal for the Valencian side’s safety in the top flight, which when combined with a good- but underperforming- Celta side could prove to be a enjoyable, final season game.
Pablo Hernández, Emre Mor and Rubén Blanco are all out for the home side.
Emmanuel Boateng is suspended for the visitors.
Potential Celta Starting XI: Álvarez, Mallo, Roncaglia, Gómez, Jonny, Wass, Sánchez, Lobotka, Sisto, Aspas, Gómez.
Potential Levante Starting XI: Olazábal, Coke, Postigo, Roríguez, Luna, Bardhi, Lukić, Campaña, Jason, Morales, Martí.
