Venue: Goodison Park

After last week’s embarrassment at the Emirates, Sam Allardyce will have fired into his time. They were 4-0 down at half-time, and went on to lose 5-1 having lost 4-0 to Spurs at Wembley less than a month earlier. Despite this, Everton still sit in the top-half of the table. The Toffees have also lost just one of six league home matches under Allardyce.

Crystal Palace received a blow earlier this week after start-man Wilfried Zaha was ruled out for a lengthy-period. Having said that, the Eagles have lost just twice in 15 matches, with both defeats coming at the hands of Arsenal. Amazingly, Palace lie just three-points clear of the drop, even after this upturn in form. Roy Hodgson’s side still have plenty of motivation and a lot of work to do.

Team News

Everton are still without Martin Stekelenburg, Leighton Baines, Ramiro Funes-Mori and James McCarthy with long-term injuries.

Palace have a lengthy list of absentees, with Martin Kelly and Wilfried Zaha joining the likes of Scott Dann, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Bakary Sako on the sidelines.

Potential Everton Starting XI: Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Williams, Martina; Gueye, Schneiderlin; Walcott, Rooney, Sigurdsson; Niasse

Potential Crystal Palace XI: Hennessey; Fosu-Mensah, Tomkins, Sakho, Van Aanholt; Townsend, Milivojevic, Cabaye, McArthur; Sorloth, Benteke
