Inter Milan v Napoli Betting Preview
Venue: San Siro
Napoli have made a serious charge for the Scudetto this year, coach Mauricio Sarri has openly spoken about pretty much forfeiting the Europa League and Coppa Italia to have full focus on a title push.
Going forward, the Partinopei have been exhilarating with the pace of Dries Mertens, Jose Callejon and Lorenzo Insinge. What hasn’t been looked at as much as it should is the defensive stronghold from the Naples-based club, they give away very few chances because the dominate the ball and attack is the best form of defence for them.
Inter have been in woeful form Over the winter after a promising start under Luciano Spaletti. Ironically Inters form dropped as rivals AC have started to motor and pressure is growing on the ex-Roma boss. They lack real craft and fluidity going forward and Mauro Icardi isn’t getting the service that he needs in recent times.
Napoli have been superb this season and have the greater threat going forward, they are rightly favourites in this one and I fancy them to get the better of a stuttering Neroazzuri outfit.
Inter will welcome back their star striker Mauro Icardi who missed out lat time against Benevento. Andrea Rannochia and Tomasso Berdi are likely to come back into the squad.
Full Back Faouzi Ghoulam remains an absentee for the visitors.
Potential Inter Milan Starting XI – Handanovic; Cancelo, Skriniar, Ranocchia, D’Ambrosio; Borja Valero, Vecino; Perisic, Rafinha, Candreva; Icardi.
