Juventus v AC Milan Betting Preview
Venue: Allianz Stadium
Channel: BT Sport
Juventus’ title defence is entering the final part of the season and an in-form Milan side pose their next challenge. The Old Lady have spent the majority of the season behind Napoli but now have a two-point advantage over them going into this weekend’s games and have 9 games left to secure a 7th straight title.
As for Milan, they have gone form having a very poor season and falling short of any European football next season to being just five points off a Champions League place. They are five points off city rivals Inter and are yet to lose a league game in 2018, a run stretching over nine games, eight of those being victories.
Juventus themselves are in brilliant form in the league but their 12-match winning run was ended last weekend to lowly SPAL and their lead over Napoli cut to just two points. Juve’s home form is well known as being quite extraordinary – they have lost just twice at home in any competition since 2015 and just once this season.
Milan’s record against this weekend’s opponents doesn’t make for good reading. Gattuso’s men have just one win against Juve in 14 matches in all competitions and have never won at the Juventus Stadium, which is now named the Allianz Stadium.
Games between these two sides are normally pretty close and both have a decent record of winning goals to nil recently. Juventus have won nine of their last 10 games to nil and have not conceded a goal in the league so far in 2018. As for Milan, they are on a five-match winning run, in which four of those have been won to nil.
Juventus are without Bernardeschi, Alex Sandro and Mandzukic. They are still waiting on the availability of Girogio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli, Stephan Lichsteiner and Mattia De Sciglio.
Milan look set to be without Alberto Conti for more time after he suffered another injury after returning back from a long-term injury just days ago. Ignazio Abate remains a long-term absentee.
Potential Juventus Starting XI: Buffon; Lichsteiner, Chiellini, Benatia, Asamoah; Khedira, Pjanic, Matuidi; Costa, Higuain, Dybala
Potential MIlan Starting XI: Donnarumma; Calabria, Bonucci, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Kessie, Biglia, Bonaventura; Suso, Silva, Calhanoglu
