Leicester play host to Sheffield United on Friday night with a place in the FA Cup quarter-finals up for grabs.

The Foxes have beaten two League One sides in Fleetwood and Peterborough to reach the fifth round, while Sheffield United have overcome Championship rivals Preston North End and Ipswich Town.

Leicester will be looking to bounce back from their 5-1 thumping at Manchester City last time out and they have failed to win any of their last three games.

Sheffield United got back to winning ways last time out with a 2-1 victory over Leeds United and although the FA Cup is a nice distration for the Blades their main focus in on trying to win promotion to the Premier League this season.

This will be the second meeting of the two sides this season after they met in the second round of the Carabao Cup in August with Leicester running out 4-1 winners.

Team News

Leicester boss Claude Puel could rest a number of his stars like he has done in the previous two rounds of the FA Cup.

Jamie Vardy and Kasper Schmeichel could both be given a rest, while Riyad Mahrez is expected to be included in the squad after making his return to action last week against Manchester City.

Leicester will be without Wes Morgan and Shinji Okazaki as the pair recover from hamstring and knee injuries respectively.

Sheffield United are without goalkeeper Simon Moore and midfielder John Fleck as they are both suspended.
David Brooks could return for Chris Wilder’s side after sickness, while Ched Evans is available after an ankle injury.
Paul Coutts remains a long-term absentee for the Blades and Kieron Freeman is still working his way back to fitness after a long lay-off
