Liverpool v Everton Betting Preview
Watch: BBC One
Liverpool have impressed within recent times, maintaining an unbeaten run throughout December and provided some magnificent performances with convincing wins over Brighton and Bournemouth. In addition to this, the two Merseyside teams came up against each other in the month of December, ending in a 1-1 draw. However, Liverpool were unlucky to take three points from this fixture as Dejan Lovren gave away a clumsy penalty which Everton converted.
Taking their start in the Premier League into consideration, Everton have certainly improved. The Toffees have secured good results against both Chelsea and Newcastle to help propel them up the table into 9th position, which is a considerable improvement on their league position a few weeks ago.
- Coutinho is unlikely to feature due to his pending transfer in the January transfer window.
- Ross Barkley and Seamus Coleman will not feature for Everton due to their ongoing injury problems.
