Norwich are seemingly crawling to promotion, after an excellent run they’ve dropped points in their last two against against bottom half sides in Wigan and Reading.
Daniel Farke has seldom tinkered with his starting XI and that’s produced plenty of good results, whether he shakes it up here or not will be interesting. At home they’re especially good, particularly going forward. They’ve scored threes and fours on many occasions and the 4-2-3-1 has worked a treat with Emi Buendia and Onel Hernandez supporting main man Teemu Pukki.
The Canaries currently have a 7 point cushion on third place Sheffield United, the Blades also slipping up was a welcome sight for the Norfolk faithful, there’s only 4 games to go now and it would be a miracle if they don’t manage a return to the Premier League.
Sheffield Wednesday still harbour slim hopes of a play off place, currently positioned in 10th place and 6 points off Bristol City who occupy the final play off place.
It’s full credit to experienced gaffer Steve Bruce that Wednesday have gone from potential relegation candidates to a solid top half side. A major contributor to their rise is their improvement at the back, they’ll need that solidarity to halt this free scoring Norwich side.
Wednesday went to Elland Road last week and were under the cosh against the title challengers from the get-go. They rarely venturing out of their own half and probably deserved to lose by more. At Hillsborough they’re much more enterprising but they’ve lost to worst sides than Norwich on the road. Swansea, QPR, Blackburn, Wigan and Birmingham have all despatched the owls on their own park, that will give the home side confidence.
Emi Buendia serves the last of his 3 game suspension and his absence has been felt by the Canaries. Marco Vrancic or Todd Cantwell could take his place.
Sheffield Wednesday are likely to be without long range merchant Adam Reach who is an injury doubt. Fernando Forestieri could come in if Bruce goes for a midfield diamond.
Potential Norwich Starting XI: Krul, Aarons, Zimmerman, Godfrey, Lewis, McLean, Trybull, Hernandez, Stiepermann, Vrancic, Pukki.
Potential Sheffield Wednesday Starting XI: Westwood, Palmer, Lees, Hector, Fox, Bannan, Hutchinson, Boyd, Forestieri, Hooper, Fletcher.

It’s very hard to dismiss the Canaries from scoring at least a couple at home. Wednesday will be a stiff test but with such overwhelming stats on their side I’ll have find a way of getting the hosts onside.
They’ve been conceding regularly though so theirs scope in the 5/2 offered with SkyBet for a home win and BTTS.
I’ll also play a point on Norwich winning with it being all square at the break. They do most of their damage in the second half as their higher energy levels give them an advantage. At 7/2 it looks a worthy play.
