Wolves look to get their third round qualifying clash out to a good start by winning their away leg to their Armenian opponents.
The Premier League outfit dispatched of Irish side Crusaders in the last stage of qualifying, emerging 6-1 winners over the two legs.
While they’ll be eager to win, one eye will be on their opening Premier League clash to Leicester City on Sunday as they try to carry on from where they left off last season.
FC Pyunik got through to this stage by taking care of business against Czech side FC Jablonec, where a 2-1 lead in the first-leg was enough for them to emerge victorious following a 0-0 stalemate in the return leg.
They may come into the clash underdogs, but they will be desperate to cause an upset and Wolves will have to have respect for their Armenian opponents.
Pyunik may also have one eye on their domestic clash on Sunday, but they will also be keen to cause a big upset on Thursday night.
Aleksandr Tarkhanov will be forced into making one change due to a suspension in the last stage. Erik Vardanyan was sent off so Artem Simonyan is expected to come in the starting eleven.
Nuno Espírito Santo will likely name the same eleven that tore Crusaders apart in Belfast with the Wolves manager eager not to get any injuries before the Premier League season starts.
Potential FC Pyunik Starting XI: Dragojevic, Stankov, Zhestokov, Marku, Manucharyan, Yedigaryan, Mkrtchyan, Shevchuk, Yefimov, Simonyan, Miranyan
Potential Wolves Starting XI: Rui Patricio, Boly, Coady, Bennett, Dendoncker, Jonny, Moutinho, Neves, Traore, Jota, Jimenez

Key Stats & Facts
- This is Wolves’ first European venture since the 1980-81 season where they were knocked out in the first round of the UEFA Cup.
- Raul Jimenez bagged two goals in the 4-1 win to Crusaders, and he will be looking to add to his tally in the competition against a technically inferior FC Pyunik side.
- Wolves will be keen to be the surprise package in this seasons Europa League. They haven’t reached a European final since 1972 where they lost to Spurs.
- FC Pyunik 17/1
- Draw 23/4
- Wolves 2/9
This should be a relatively comfortable win with Wolves on paper being far superior to their Armenian counterparts.
Raul Jimenez will be eager to notch again as he looks to show off his goalscoring exploits in a game where he should get plenty of opportunities.
FC Pyunik’s front line shouldn’t threaten Wolves too much, and they will be disappointed to come out of the game without a clean sheet.
Jimenez opened the scoring for Wolves against Crusaders last time out, and you can back him to be the first goalscorer at 3/1 with Bet365.
Wolves should be winning this by a big margin, so you can back them to win the clash by 4 or more goals at 7/2 with SpreadEx.
