Real Madrid head into the second leg as the 2/7 favourites to advance to the final thanks to their 2-1 comeback victory at the Allianz arena last week.
Zidane and his men though will be more than wary of their opponents especially after the exploits of Juventus in the quarter-finals. Real Madrid took a three goal lead back to the Bernabeu in that tie and only escaped extra time due to Ronaldo’s last gasp penalty.
After seeing rivals Barcelona wrap up the league at the weekend that could surely only make Real Madrid more determined to reach the final.
Bayern Munich are a 5/2 shot to qualify but they will be hopeful of keeping it tight early and possibly nicking that all important away goal.
The loss of both Robben and Boateng for not only this game but for also much of the first leg is disappointing for Jupp Heynckes but Munich have enough strength in depth to continue to compete and still be hopeful of getting through despite the difficulty of the task in hand.
After having the league wrapped up a bit ago this and the upcoming German cup finals will have been Munich’s main focus for a while now.
With Carvajal ruled out, Vasquez looks set to keep the right back spot he played during second half of the first leg while Isco is doubtful meaning an opportunity for either Benzema or Bale.
Jerome Boateng and Arjen Robben both miss out after picking up injuries in the first leg however Alaba could return after missing that game.
