Rennes come into this clash in great form, unbeaten in their last three and securing their passage through to the semi-finals of the French Cup.
The hosts sit in 10th spot in Ligue 1 and with only one defeat in their last eight games, they look to be a club on the up in France.
Spanish side Real Betis were knocked out in the last round of the Europa League by Rennes as the French side won 3-1 away and 6-4 on aggregate.
Following their draw in the north London derby, Arsenal will be looking to return to winning ways in the Europa League ahead of their crunch tie with Manchester United on the weekend.
Arsenal advanced to the round-of-16 by beating BATE Borisov 3-1 on aggregate after losing the first-leg 1-0.
The Gunners made it to the semi-final stage last season after losing to eventual winners Atletico Madrid and Unai Emery will be hoping his joy in the Europa League continues with Arsenal.
Rennes will be without Jordan Siebatcheu, Romain Danze, Abdoulaye Diallo, Ludovic Baal with injuries while Hamari Traore misses out due to suspension. James Lea Siliki may have recovered in time for the visit of Arsenal.
The Gunners will be without Danny Welbeck, Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding who are all sidelined with injuries.
Alexandre Lacazette is still suspended in European games for Arsenal, therefore Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should be the lone striker for the Gunners.
Lucas Torreira’s suspension for domestic competitions means that he will probably feature here.
