Roma will be looking to push on after their 4-2 win over Napoli last weekend when they host Torino this weekend.
The away side are struggling in the league this season, sitting in 9th place, 8 points off the Europa League positions. They have just two wins in their last eight league fixtures and are winless in their last four away games.
Roma’s big win over Napoli pushed them back into the Champions League places and this game on Friday represents a good chance to build momentum ahead of the final stretch of games. As for Torino, they would need to win the majority of their games left to have any chance of European football next season, so three points here is a must.
Roma have won to nil in three of their last five games and Torino have kept just two clean sheets in their last six so this does have the look of a comfortable home win. At 40/17, Roma win to nil looks like good value and Torino have looked lacking up-front all season and even Andrea Belotti cannot find a goal.
Under 2.5 goals has resulted in four of Torino’s last six games and Roma have won with under 2.5 goals in three of their last five league games. At 21/20, under 2.5 goals is a good price but Roma to win and under 2.5 goals looks even better at 18/5, with a reasonably close game looking likely.
Edin Dzeko was back amongst the goals against Napoli but is suspended this week so Patrick Schick will more than likely deputised in a forward role. Torino’s defence is not great so Schick to score anytime at 2/1 looks to be a good way to go.
Federico Fazio and Edin Dzeko both miss out through suspension.
Nicolas Burdisso, Cristian Molinaro and Lyanco are still unavailable for Torino.
Potential Roma Starting XI: Alisson; Florenzi, Manolas, Jesus, Kolarov; Strootman, Rossi; Under, Nainggolan, Perotti; Schick
Potential Torino Starting XI: Sirigu; Silvestri, Nkoulou, Moretti, Ansaldi; Rincon, Baselli, Obi; Falque, Belotti, Niang
