Stoke v Tottenham Betting Preview
Venue: bet365 Stadium
Channel: Sky Sports
As the league starts to come to an end, time is running out for Stoke City. Of the 6 remaining games, four of them will be against teams fighting for relegation, whilst the other two are against Spurs and Liverpool.
To beat Tottenham would serve as an enormous boost for the club and the players, but the North London side are in fine form, having gone unbeaten in the league since being thrashed 4-1 by Manchester City in mid-December.
Despite Harry Kane being injured for the last few weeks, Pochettino’s men adapted brilliantly to the loss of the striker, and after a stunning display of football against Chelsea last week, they proved that they’re not just a one-man team.
Stoke have only managed to win 6 games all season, their last victory coming from a 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town. The appointment of Paul Lambert hasn’t made much of an impact, and the Toffees will be desperate to gain any points they can from the rest of the season and pray for luck to be on their side.
Stoke’s problems are also present in the infirmary, with Lee Grant, Eric Choupo-Moting and Konstantinos Stafylidis all injured.
Harry Winks is the only unavailable player for Spurs.
Potential Stoke Starting XI: Butland, Johnson, Shawcross, Indi, Pieters,Fletcher, Ndiaye, Shaqiri, Allen, Sobhi, Crouch.
Potential Tottenham Starting XI: Lloris, Trippier, Sánchez, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Dembélé, Eriksen, Alli, Son, Kane.
