Sweden v Italy Betting Preview
Venue: Friends Arena

Sweden’s home form in this competition has been formidable at times, even beating the French team in qualification. They have also won impressively on other occasions, winning 8-0 against Luxembourg, 6-0 against Slovakia and Belarus 4-0. This affair is clearly going to be tight, with bookmakers finding it hard to decide this one. In betting terms, it is hard to find an angle here, but Italy to win and under 2.5 goals is my best bet at 3/1.
Italy have been impressive away from home and their only recent loss was to Spain which is no disgrace, despite the 3-0 socreline. History clearly favours the Itlalian’s, but this is a much tougher test for the away side than it first seems taking into account Sweden’s home form and their recent campaign which was superb.
Sweden have nearly always kept the same starting XI. Zaza has earned himself a recall after a solid start to the season for La Liga high-flyers Valencia.
Potential Sweden Starting XI: Olsen, Lustig, Lindelof, Granquist, Augustinsson, Claesson, Johansson, Larsson, Forsberg, Berg, Toivenen
Potential Italy Sarting XI: Buffon, Darmian, Bonucci, Chiellini, Spinazolla, Insigne, Veratti, De Rossi, Candreva, Immobile, Belotti
