Tottenham v APOEL Betting Preview
Venue: Wembley Stadium
Watch: BT Sport 3
Tottenham have endured a small-blip of late. Spurs are four league games without a win, but in the Champions League they’ve had no such issues. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have already secured top spot in Group H, and this is advantageous going into the final group game as it allows Pochettino the luxury of shuffling his pack. Spurs have had three games in the last seven days, and with a hectic Xmas period set to come, expect a much-changed Spurs this Wednesday.
APOEL’s European campaign is still alive going into the final game. With Borussia Dortmund travelling to Real Madrid, Nicosia have a real chance of finishing in third spot, meaning qualification for the knockout stage of the Europa League. APOEL drew both games with Dortmund and simply need to better their result this Wednesday.
Spurs are expected to make changes this Wednesday. Hugo Lloris, Kieran Trippier, Christian Eriksen and Harry all sat out training earlier today. Erik Lamela is not registered for the Champions League Group Phase, while Victor Wanyama and Toby Aldeweireld remain out.
Apoel are without defensive duo Carlao and Milanov.
