Tottenham v Stoke Betting Preview
Venue: Wembley Stadium
Although much changed, Spurs were able to get back to winning ways on Wednesday in the Champions League. Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be hoping to carry that into the league this Saturday when they host Stoke at Wembley. Tottenham are four league games without a win.
Spurs have found life tough at Wembley this campaign. When facing teams outside the ‘Top-Six’ at their temporary home, they’ve struggled. Their home games with Burnley, Swansea, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and West Brom have all seen less than three goals, with Spurs mustering just four goals across those matches.
If Stoke have their wits about them, then they’ll approach Saturday in similar fashion. The Potters picked up a much-needed win at home at Swansea last weekend, ending a four-game winless run. Mark Hughes’ side have scored in each of their last six away trips and possess an obvious threat. They are the highest scorers in the bottom-half of the division.
Spurs remain without Toby Alderweireld and Victor Wanyama. Davinson Sanchez is suspended.
Stoke are without injured quartet Bruno Martins Indi, Geoff Cameron, Stephen Ireland and Jese Rodriguez.
Potential Spurs Starting XI: Lloris; Trippier, Dier, Vertonghen, Davies; Winks, Dembele; Son, Alli, Eriksen; Kane
Potential Stoke Starting XI: Butland; Zouma, Shawcross, Wimmer; Diouf, Fletcher, Allen, Pieters; Shaqiri, Choupo-Moting; Crouch
