Tottenham v West Ham Betting Preview
Venue: Wembley Stadium
Spurs picked up a decent win in awful conditions in South Wales on Tuesday without starting key men Victor Wanyama and Harry Kane. Kane should return here and that means trouble for David Moyes’ men, he’s got a great record against West Ham. He’s short enough at 1/2 to notch here but there’s juice in the 11/4 on him scoring at least twice.
West Ham had a good win coming from behind against West Brom a couple of days ago courtesy of an Andy Carroll last minute winner. Irons’ fans weren’t too impressed with the performance though and it took the introduction of Mark Noble at half time to spark them into life. This will be a much tougher test for the East London side and given the gulf in class of the two teams it’s hard to be with them.
As mentioned Kane should return here in place of Fernando Llorente, theirs also a chance of Wanyama returning, possibly in place of Erik Lamela. It would be no surprise to see Mauricio Pocchetino rotate his full backs with Kieran Trippier being swapped for Ivorian Serge Aurier.
West Ham continued to be littered with injuries, the latest being Aaron Cresswell who went off with a suspected back injury against the Baggies. Michael Antonio and Andre Ayew are also doubts which leaves them with a dearth of attacking options. They also remain without centre halves Jose Fonte and James Collins.
