Champions League Acca Tips
Bet 1: BTTS & Liverpool to Win (17/10)
There are two parts to this bet, but they go together like biscuits with your brew, and from a punter’s point of view, they’re just as easy to tuck into. First up, you’ve got Liverpool to win. No disrespect to Galatasaray, but the Premier League leaders look a cut above. Their only slip in the last ten was against Crystal Palace, while Galatasaray were soundly outclassed by Eintracht Frankfurt in their Champions League opener.
Then there’s the goals. Both sides love to attack, and four of their last five games have seen both teams score and at least three goals in total. Put these two facts together and this feels like a very strong shout. Anything below evens would feel like a gift, so those 17/10 odds look mighty tasty.
Bet 2: Richarlison to Score (13/10)
No doubt about it, Richarlison’s on absolute fire at the moment, the goal stats say it all. He’s played six Premier League matches and chipped in with a goal contribution in four of them. Bottom line, Tottenham’s scoreline has been bigger two-thirds of the time he’s been on the pitch. The only other time he’s looked this sharp was his 2022 World Cup stint.
Sure, he didn’t find the net in their Champions League opener against Villarreal, but that looked more like a side still getting their ducks in order. Up against Bodø/Glimt, we’re expecting a much more convincing attacking display. That should mean Richarlison gets his chances, and when he does, he very rarely wastes them.
Bet 3: Atlético Madrid vs Eintracht Frankfurt – Over 3.5 Goals (6/4)
Pure maths, this one. Atlético Madrid have seen over 3.5 goals in three of their last five matches. And the funny thing is, they often keep it tighter against weaker sides. When it’s a big clash, like Liverpool or Real Madrid (both of those games went five goals apiece) it becomes a goal fest. They really do go blow-for-blow when the opposition’s quality is high.
Now enter Eintracht Frankfurt, a side that love to attack and create chances. They’ve gone over this goal line in each of their last five outings. Put that together and you’ve got ten recent matches, with eight of them hitting four or more goals, that’s an 80% strike rate. Factor in Atlético’s tendency to raise their game against attacking opponents, and you could easily bump that figure up another 5–10%.
Run it through the odds calculator and you’ll see 6/4 gives an implied probability of just 40%. To say bookies are selling this one short is an understatement.
