Our experts have delved deep into the Championship data across the season with the help of stats from Kickform to compile our acca tips. Let’s look at each fixture individually.
Ipswich Town vs Wrexham: BTTS – Yes
With three wins and a draw in their last four matches, Ipswich are in seventh, only a couple of points off a playoff place and six points off the automatic promotion slots. Wrexham are six places, but only two points behind them.
Ipswich have scored 26 and conceded 16 in their 14 matches, having only kept two clean sheets. Wrexham have scored 20 and conceded 19 in 15 games. Ipswich are averaging 1.86 goals per game with Wrexham averaging 1.33 goals per game. We anticipate goals at both ends in this one. This has been the case in 67% of both Ipswich and Wrexham’s games. We think that both sides will find the net in this one too.
Leicester City vs Stoke City: Under 2.5 Goals
Leicester, in 12th place, host third-placed Stoke City. We don’t see many goals in this one. Stoke have the division’s meanest defence with only 10 conceded in 15 matches, keeping six clean sheets. Leicester have conceded only six goals in their seven home matches, including a clean sheet against free-scoring leaders Coventry. Leicester have averaged 1.20 goals per game over the season while Stoke have averaged 1.40. 60% of Leicester’s matches and 67% of Stoke’s have featured less than 2.5 goals. We see another low-scoring match here.
Queens Park Rangers vs Hull City: Over 2.5 Goals & BTTS-Yes
Only leaders Coventry City have scored more goals than fifth-placed Hull City this season. The Tigers have hit an impressive 26 in 15 matches. The problem is that they have conceded 24, the worst total in the top half of the table. However, while they have not been great on their travels we are confident that they will go to Loftus Road and score at least once.
QPR are in 18th place in the table. They have only won two from seven home matches this season; however, they have managed to score in their last three home games. Unfortunately, in two of those the opposition came away with a 2-1 win, and they were also hammered 4-1 by Ipswich. We think that they will score against Hull, however, there is a chance that they could ship a few like they did against the Tractor Boys.
The stats suggest plenty of goals with both teams getting on the sheet. Both teams have scored in 67% of Rangers’ games and in 73% of Hull’s. Over half of QPR’s matches have featured three or more goals, while Hull’s games have gone over the 2.5 goals mark 73% of the time. We think that Parimatch’s price of 49/40 for Over 2.5 goals and BTTS is great value.
