The Premier League hasn’t even started, and everyone has already decided that the league is Liverpool’s for the taking. Their signings have been massive, and their potential this season is through the roof. Is there any value left in betting on Liverpool?
Arne Slot has been a revelation. Klopp was brilliant, but Slot has already won the league, and his pulling power for players is awe-inspiring. They’ve added eight players, including Wirtz, Ekitike and Frimpong, totalling £254.4 million spent.
They’ve sold big too, getting rid of nine fringe players like Diaz and Nunez for a total of £170 million in profits. Astute business doesn’t even do Slot justice, and the Premier League betting landscape is still shaking from that seismic activity.
Liverpool Premier League Outright Odds
This season, Liverpool will look to defend their championship, winning back-to-back league titles for the first time since 1984. Can they do it? Here’s what bet365 thinks.
| Team | Odds |
|---|---|
| Liverpool | 7/4 |
| Arsenal | 9/4 |
| Manchester City | 7/2 |
| Chelsea | 8/1 |
| Manchester United | 25/1 |

Is there any value in betting on Liverpool? The odds aren’t huge, so betting on them may be safe, but it isn’t exactly going to be a record-breaking bet. Still with an each-way of 1/3 on the top 2 spots, the Liverpool odds makes sense.
I’d argue that if you’re looking for value over anything else, Chelsea at 8/1 could be a great option. They’ve shown that they can beat the best on their day, by winning the Club World Cup, so a surprise title challenge from them is on the cards.
Liverpool Value Bets
If the odds for a Premier League title win are just too short for you, we get it. Here are a few markets which could offer greater value when betting on England’s best team on paper this season with bet365.
| Market | Odds |
|---|---|
| Top at Christmas | 2/1 |
| Winner and Top Goalscorer: Liverpool & Mo Salah | 9/1 |
| To win the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League | 40/1 |
| Liverpool to go Unbeaten in the Premier League | 100/1 |
| To NOT Win a Major Trophy | 5/4 |

Top at Christmas
It’s similar to an outright with two major benefits: It ends in December, and the odds are a bit better. If Liverpool are set to dominate in the way most of us expect, leading by Christmas is very achievable, even if they somehow bottle the league after that. Liverpool topped last season’s table last Christmas, and have topped the league in four of the last seven.
Winner and Top Goalscorer: Liverpool & Mo Salah
This would be a repeat of last season. Salah is the second favourite to win the Golden Boot, and if he can win it, there’s a good chance that Liverpool will win the league too. Haaland is the favourite, but if Salah did it last year, he can certainly do it this year with a stronger squad.
To Win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League
Can Liverpool finally match their rivals in completing the continental treble? This could be their year, and with a much-improved squad, this dream could become a reality. The odds reflect what a tough challenge this is, but across Europe, only a handful of other teams could do it this season.
Liverpool to Go Unbeaten in the Premier League
Have you gone mad? Oh, fair enough. Liverpool have what it takes to be absolutely indestructible, and if they manage this, they’d be only the third team to go unbeaten in the league since 1888. It’s a stretch, obviously, but it could be a fun bet, with a huge reward if it somehow comes true.
To NOT Win a Major Trophy
This is for all you United and Everton fans out there. The introduction of several new first-team players could mean that Liverpool lose their footing this season. It’s happened before, and they’ve already lost the Community Shield, so Liverpool are already zero for one on this market.
Liverpool in Other Competitions
The Liverpool odds predict them as favourites to win every single domestic competition, and we expect them to have a serious go at the lot, but is that sustainable? Here are the odds with bet365:
| Competition | Outright Odds on Liverpool |
|---|---|
| Premier League | 7/4 (Favourites) |
| FA Cup | 4/1 (Favourites) |
| EFL Cup | 5/1 (Favourites) |
| Champions League | 6/1 (2nd Favourites) |

Last season, Liverpool endured an all-time upset in the FA Cup fourth round to Plymouth Argyle. Lost to Newcastle in the EFL Cup final and romped to the Premier League title in top form.
The Reds have already started on the wrong foot this season, though, losing on penalties to Crystal Palace in the Community Shield, but only four of the last 12 Premier League champions have actually won the shield, so that shouldn’t bother Slot too much.
Despite the Shield, Liverpool are still predicted to win every competition they’re in, or at least to make the final. It’ll be a tough ask, and we expect them to fall short in at least one of these four competitions.
Regardless of what they’ll actually go on to achieve, the fact that they’re favourites for every competition says a lot about the team and their strength. Are any worth betting on? The FA Cup would be my pick since the odds are decent, and Slot will want to start expanding his trophy cabinet to new competitions.
