Crystal Palace vs Wolves – Double Chance: Draw or Wolves to Win
Crystal Palace have had a difficult start to 2026. The Eagles have only one win in their last 11 Premier League matches. Wolves have had a difficult season full stop but will come into this one buoyed by their second half comeback to take a point from their home match against Arsenal in midweek. Since Christmas, Rob Edwards’ side have managed to pick up points away from home at Man United, Everton and Nottingham Forest. They also won away at Grimsby in the FA Cup. Parimatch are offering 6/5 Double Chance: Draw/Wolves. Given that Palace will have had less recovery after playing in Europe on Thursday, the fact that they have not won at home in 2026 and the way in which their season seems to be imploding, we think that this is a great way to start our acca.
Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool – Liverpool to Win and Elliot Anderson 1+ Shots
Will Forest benefit from a new manager bounce? We’re not so sure that a new man in the dugout is much of a novelty for players or fans at the City Ground. Liverpool appear to be picking up again and followed up an away win at Sunderland by sweeping aside Brighton in the FA Cup. Arne Slot’s side will be desperate for the points as they look to rescue their league campaign and secure Champions League football. They will also want revenge over Forest after the Tricky Trees beat them at Anfield in the reverse fixture.
As part of our 6 Scores free predictions game, we tipped Liverpool to come away from the banks of the Trent with a 1-0 win. Kickform give Liverpool a 53% chance of winning with 0-1 the most likely final result. We are going along with that. We are also backing Forest’s Elliot Anderson to have at least one shot. Anderson was a key player for Forest as they qualified for Europe last season. And this time round, while the team have regressed, Anderson has continued to develop and has forced his way into the England reckoning. He is near the top for many metrics in midfield, and, according to Kickform, he is currently averaging 1.04 shots per game. We back him to chance his arm and have at least one attempt on Sunday.
Sunderland vs Fulham – Sunderland to Win or Draw & Under 2.5 Goals
Sunderland are difficult to beat at home. Liverpool are the only visiting side to leave the Stadium of Light with all three points. The Black Cats have plateaued a little since the festive season, due to AFCON absentees and an injury to Granit Xhaka. And while Fulham had an excellent run either side of Christmas, during which they beat Sunderland at Craven Cottage, they have struggled for points in recent weeks.
We are not convinced that Sunderland will beat Marco Silva’s side; however, we don’t see them losing either. In our talkSPORT Bet Footie 4 Play predictions, we plumped for a 1-1 scoreline, though, if anyone has the edge, it'll have to be the home side. So, given that 58% of Sunderland’s games have seen less than 2.5 goals per game and that Fulham have only scored 13 times in 13 away games, we are also predicting under 2.5 goals.
