So, without further ado, here’s a value-packed 4-fold paying almost 6/1 at bet365.

Bet 1: Aston Villa vs Maccabi Tel Aviv – Villa -1 Handicap

Just when you think Villa have turned a corner, they go and lose to Go Ahead Eagles in Matchday 2 of the Europa League. They’d won five in a row prior to that, and there were signs that Emery had his squad starting to tick. A 2-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League last week doesn’t massively concern us here, although odds to beat Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday of 2/9 offer zero value.

We’re three games into the league phase of the Europa League, and if Villa want an automatic top-eight finish, these are must-win games at home. The gulf in class here is huge, and there’s nothing to suggest from MTA’s opening three games (1D, 2L) that they’ll be able to lay a glove on Villa. They should cover the -1 handicap with ease, but we still get some protection if it’s tighter than it could be. Odds of 4/6 look good enough value for bet one.

Bet 2: Midtjylland vs Celtic – Draw or Celtic

Martin O’Neill is starting to restore some order at Celtic Park. He may only be in on the interim as they look for a long-term successor to Brendan Rodgers, but a convincing 4-0 win over Falkirk, and of course, beating the old enemy Rangers in the League Cup, will have buoyed the Bhoys.

Midtjylland are not messing around this season. Three wins in a row have them at the top of the league phase and looking strong to progress. Their win at Nottingham Forest was impressive, but let’s be honest, that team were shot of confidence under Postecoglou, who was sacked just a couple of weeks later. That’s not to say we’re discounting the win, but if they lined up again this week, you’d have to suggest that a fresh-faced Forest side under Dyche would have fared better.

Anyway, back to business. We’re taking Celtic or a draw at 8/11 here. The vibes at Celtic feel strong, and with one win in three and 21st in the table, they absolutely must get a result here, and we think they will.

Bet 3: PAOK vs Young Boys – Over 2.5 Goals

The two entertainers of the 2025/26 Europa League go head-to-head as Young Boys travel to Greece to play PAOK in what could be a cracker. Between the two sides, they’ve been involved in 23 goals in six games and with the bookies offering us a generous 4/6 on the over 2.5 total goals market, it’s too good to pass up. Bet three, locked in.

Bet 4: Crystal Palace vs AZ – Palace to Win

One win, one defeat for both teams so far, and for Palace, a chance to put a miserable home performance against AEK Larnaca behind them. It feels like they’ve got over their little blip, beating Liverpool (again) in the League Cup and then Brentford at home in the Premier League.

Would we like a little more meat on the bone than 4/9 for them to win? Of course. As a single, it’s probably a bet we’d avoid, but as the final part of our European acca, it boosts us from around 3.8/1 up to 6/1.
