Bet 1 – Ajax v Olympiacos: Both Teams to Score
Ajax can still reach nine points but are unlikely to qualify, while Olympiacos arrive as favourites, yet sit precariously in 24th position. The Dutch side do have the advantage of playing at home and have shown clear improvement of late, winning 2-1 away at Villarreal before a 2-0 domestic victory. That said, Olympiacos can smell qualification, and will look to add to the seven goals Ajax have already conceded at home in the Champions League.
Bet 2 – Atlético Madrid v Bodø/Glimt: Atlético to Win
Of the teams outside the top eight still looking to break in, Atlético have one of the strongest cases, having won all three of their Champions League home games so far. They sit seven points clear of Bodø/Glimt, with four wins to the Norwegians’ one. While Bodø did manage a positive result against Manchester City last week, they’re likely to find this a far tougher assignment.
Bet 3 – Bayer Leverkusen v Villarreal: Leverkusen to Win
Leverkusen can’t reach the top eight, but they still need to secure their place inside the top 24. The hosts sit on nine Champions League points compared to their opponents’ return of just one, and they’ve scored in every home match this season. Fresh from a Bundesliga victory, they should make no mistake on Wednesday.
Bet 4 – Borussia Dortmund v Inter Milan: Both Teams to Score
This game pits 16th against 14th in the table. With Dortmund on 11 points and Inter on 12, both sides remain vulnerable and cannot afford to settle for a draw. The Black and Yellows have scored 10 times in three Champions League home games, while Inter have netted seven on the road, pointing firmly towards goals at each end at Signal Iduna Park.
Bet 5 – Club Brugge v Marseille: Over 2.5 Goals
There’s still plenty on the line here. Club Brugge have home advantage and can force their way into the playoffs, while Marseille really need to avoid defeat to protect their own position.
Over 3.5 goals is the Kickform tip, with both teams to score rated at 73%. We’re expecting goals, but for a bit of added insurance, the smart play is to drop down to over 2.5.
Bet 6 – Eintracht Frankfurt v Tottenham: Both Teams to Score
The ‘Both Teams to Score’ bet has landed in four of the six relevant UCL matches involving these sides — three Eintracht home games and three Spurs away fixtures — with 27 goals scored in total.
Tottenham carry the greater motivation, with a top eight finish well within reach, though Frankfurt have failed to score in just two of their last 12 home games in all competitions. Add in the fact that Eintracht have nothing to lose and can play with freedom, while our Kickform stats point to a 72% chance of this bet hitting.
Bet 7 – Monaco v Juventus: Draw or Juventus (Double Chance)
In theory, both sides can still improve their positions, with Monaco chasing a top 24 finish and Juventus pushing for a place in the top eight.
Monaco are unbeaten at home in the Champions League this season, but draws against Manchester City and Tottenham, alongside a narrow 1-0 win over Galatasaray, don’t quite give them an untouchable feel. Juventus, meanwhile, drew away at Villarreal, lost 1-0 at Real Madrid, and picked up a win at Bodø/Glimt – results that have shown improvement and underline the quality and resilience needed to avoid defeat.
Bet 8 – Napoli v Chelsea: Over 0.5 Home Goals
Napoli need a win to keep their top 24 hopes alive, while Chelsea will be keen to hold onto their current automatic qualification spot. The Blues have conceded seven goals in four Champions League away matches, and Napoli boast a 4-1 aggregate goal record at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in this competition.
Kickform rates Napoli with a 34% chance of victory, while ‘Both Teams to Score’ lands at 58%. Rather than overcomplicating things, a price of 1/3 for Napoli to score offers solid value – and it’s enough to boost our acca without unnecessary risk.
Bet 9 – Union SG v Atalanta: Over 2.5 Goals
Union SG’s home games in the Champions League average 4.33 goals, while Atalanta’s away average comes in at 2.67. This could be a high-press matchup, with both sides perhaps vulnerable defensively. Union are already poor at the back, while the Italian side has to go for it if they are to reach the top eight.
