As part of our GQbet review we analysed their odds over several sports. We started with football and from three random fixtures GQbet had an average book percentage of 110.1%, equivalent to a 10.1% overround. This is a theoretical pricing measure, not the bookmaker’s realised profit. We took this further by putting GQbet up against Vave and JACK, two of the best offshore sports betting sites over three fixtures from three sports.

For a complete decimal-odds market, book percentage is the sum of (1 ÷ odds) × 100 for all outcomes. Overround is that percentage minus 100.

All three operators, including GQbet, provided great value for the NBA match that we looked at. Vave and JACK, both known for competitive odds, were slightly better, however, the 5.8% overround was lower than GQbet’s sampled football and tennis figures. Unfortunately, the football and tennis odds were much less impressive and the supplied football and tennis examples were around 110% book percentage.

While the odds across a range of sports are underwhelming, a saving grace for GQbet is the number of odds boosts available. For example, BTTS: Yes and Over 3.5 goals for Liverpool vs Chelsea in the EFL Cup has been boosted from 2.20 to 2.42, and in the ATP Vienna the match between Tomas Machac and Alex De Minaur has also received a boost.
