The EuroBasket quarterfinals are already underway, and the final eight are all brilliant. We’ve gone through Wednesday’s matches and picked the best markets to give you a leg up when betting on EuroBasket.

The EuroBasket quarterfinals are set to be excellent, and here are a few tips which could land you a few winning bets.

Wednesday’s quarterfinals are huge. Each team has some serious talent and have a good chance of making it all the way to the final. Here are a few top EuroBasket betting tips for each match:

Finland vs Georgia

Finland only went and knocked out the favourites Serbia, in a shocking 92-86 victory. They’re certainly dark horses at this point, but Georgia are not to be trifled with.

Georgia featured in their very own upset, beating France 80-70, even though they were priced 9/1 before the tip-off. It’s a battle for dark horse supremacy, and here are our tips for this match with bet365:

MarketOdds
Lauri Markkanen Over 28.5 Points9/10
Finland Over 82.5 Points11/20
Finland 1st Quarter Money Line 3-Way7/10

Lauri Markkanen Over 28.5 Points

Lauri Markkanen has been on generational form. In the four games which Finland did win, he dropped 28 or more points in three of them, including a massive 43 against Great Britain. His average is 26 points in the tournament, which is the third-highest, and we expect him to reach it again against Georgia.

Finland Over 82.5 Points

In Finland's four wins, they managed 93, 109, 85 and 92 points. Those are some pretty strong showings, so we’re expecting to see more of the same. The key aspect to this market is that there’s still a chance that Finland scores 83 points if they lose, so it’s a bet with great value.

Finland 1st Quarter Money Line 3-Way

Finland have only lost the first quarter on just one occasion, against Germany. It’s safe to say that they’ve consistently come out on the stronger foot. Georgia have lost three first quarters, which shows they won’t be as good off the bat.

Germany vs Slovenia

Germany are still a force to be reckoned with in the basketball betting world. The world champions haven’t lost a game yet and have already beaten Lithuania and Finland, who are in the quarterfinals as well.

The outright favourites have averaged the most points of the tournament, 102.3, but don’t have any standout players. A testament to their team strength.

On the other hand, Slovenia do have a standout in Luka Dončić who is leading the competition in points and has been brilliant. He’s dragging his nation to glory, but we think that Slovenia’s journey will end here.

Either way, we’ve picked a few markets with great odds from bet365:

MarketOdds
Total Over 178.5 Points9/10
Slovenia First Half to Score 40 Points11/20
Luka Dončić Over 34.5 Points17/20

Total Over 178.5 Points

This is set to be a match to remember; out of the 12 matches played by each team, six of those matches ended with over 180 points. Crucially, in the two games which Slovenia lost, the scores read 198 and 200. That’s huge, and since we’re backing the Germans, this bet has more value than meets the eye.

Slovenia First Half to Score 40 Points

Slovenia have averaged the second-highest points tally in the tournament, behind Germany. The average is 92.2, and they’ve surpassed 40 points by halftime in five of their six matches, including their two losses. It’s a solid market with good odds.

Luka Dončić Under 34.5 Points

Luka Dončić has been Slovenia's saviour on more than one occasion, and he’s leading the tournament for points averages with 34 per game. He only failed to reach that once, an abysmal 26 points against Belgium. Luka will be on his best game against Germany, and we expect a stellar performance from the Lakers star.

EuroBasket Outright Betting

With Serbia out for the count, Germany are the current favourites to lift the trophy. Here are the best odds available.

TeamOddsBookmaker
Germany4/6William Hill
Türkiye3/1William Hill
Greece9/2Betway
Lithuania33/1Ladbrokes
Finland33/1Coral

Our money is on Germany. They’re the heavy favourite for a reason, with a relatively easier route to the final and recent international success to back them up.

Türkiye are also a decent shout, as the only other team who haven’t lost a match yet. If they can overcome the might of the German team is another question altogether, so an each-way bet could be excellent here.
