After almost a month of festive darting excellence, we’re down to the final two of the 2026 PDC Darts World Championship as Luke Littler looks to retain his crown against up-and-coming Dutchman Gian van Veen.

PDC Darts World Championship Final Betting Tips 2026 – Luke Littler vs Gian van Veen
Luke Littler (left) and Gian van Veen (right) go head-to-head in Saturday's World Darts Championship final

For Littler, it’s been business as usual, having dropped just three sets on his way to his third consecutive World Championship final, becoming just the fourth man to do so. He’s averaged 103.69 – the highest of any player this year – and warrants his short 2/5 favourite tag.

For van Veen, he’s firmly cemented himself as one of the best players in the world, beating the likes of Gary Anderson, Luke Humphries and Alan Soutar en route to the final. He’s well-backed at 2/1 to cause an upset on Saturday night, but for those of you following our early PDC Darts World Championship betting tips, you’ll notice that we backed him to go all the way at pre-tournament odds of 16/1, and we’re letting it ride.

So, all that remains now is to decide where the value lies ahead of this mouthwatering showdown at the Palace.

World Championship Darts Final Betting Tips

Gian van Veen is one of the few players in the world with the firepower to beat Luke Littler at the minute. In fact, he’s won three out of their last four meetings.

That said, you’d have to be a brave man to invest too heavily in Littler to not win a second consecutive World Championship. So, we’ve looked at alternative markets and found an incredible boosted double on bet365 for the match.

Match 180s – A 180 to be Scored in Every Set

A no-brainer, right? These guys have been piling in 180s for fun throughout the tournament, so we’re backing at least one to land in every set – which occurred in both Littler’s and van Veen’s respective semi-finals.

Only Gary Anderson (59) has scored more 180s than Luke Littler (57) this year, and the Nuke should glide past that number once they take to the oche on Saturday night.

The Giant isn’t too far behind either, with the third most on 48.

It wouldn’t be all that surprising to see a record tumble here. You’ve got two players right at the very top of their game, and they love to fill up that treble 20. For reference, that record is 42 from the 2017 epic between MvG and Gary Anderson.

A 170 Finish in the Match

It’s been a crazy year for 170 finishes. The Big Fish has landed 16 times, the most in World Championship history.

And we’ve got two of the most prominent players for the finish in the final as well. In fact, Gian van Veen has landed three on his own, including one in that incredible spell in his semi-final against Gary Anderson, where both players hit a 170 finish in the same set. Wayne Mardle on commentary called it a “set of darts from God”, and he wasn’t wrong.

Luke Littler loves to set up the Big Fish. He’s landed it once already against Krzysztof Ratajski in his quarter-final, but no player sets up for this showboat of a finish more than the Nuke.

Surely one lands between these two superstars, and we love that this makes up the final part of our PDC Darts World Championship final betting tips.
