Now let’s have a look at the three matches in detail to see why we think that the three bets are of good value.
Chelsea vs Ajax: Over 2.5 Goals & BTTS (20/21)
Chelsea bounced back from defeats to Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Brighton in September to reel off three consecutive wins. Ajax are fourth in the Eredivisie and have lost their opening two Champions League fixtures, conceding six goals.
Chelsea scored three without reply at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, a result that saw Ange Postecoglou’s short City Ground reign come to an end. The Pensioners have averaged two goals per game in the league.
As well as shipping goals in the Champions League, Ajax have conceded 12 in the Dutch top-flight. Their most recent Eredivisie matches were a 3-3 draw at Sparta Rotterdam and a 2-0 loss at home to AZ Alkmaar.
Taking this into account we think that there will be goals at both ends, and we think that over 2.5 and BTTS is a great bet to start our treble.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Liverpool: Over 3.5 Goals and BTTS (11/10)
When the fixtures came out, you would have been forgiven for thinking that Hugo Ekitike’s return to his old club would have been the main narrative. Yet after four defeats on the bounce in all competitions, we are now looking at Arne Slot being under pressure.
Whether Liverpool can get back on track or not, the information gathered from our stats hub suggests that there will be plenty of goals. And, like the first match in our treble, we think both sides will find the net.
Frankfurt are currently seventh in the Bundesliga, having scored 19 and conceded 18. Both teams have scored in 86% of their games, and 86% of their matches have seen more than 3.5 goals. Their two Champions League fixtures have ended 5-1. A win over Galatasaray and a defeat to Atlético Madrid.
Liverpool are struggling to click, but their games have often featured goals. They have scored 14 and conceded 11 in the Premier League, while in Europe they beat Atlético Madrid at Anfield and lost 1-0 away to Galatasaray. We are confident that there will be goals in this one and 11/10 at bet365 for over 3.5 and BTTS is a decent price.
Monaco vs Tottenham Hotspur: Over 10 Corners (6/5)
It is the over/under market on corners that has caught our eye as Monoco host Tottenham. In Ligue 1, 88% of Monaco’s games have seen over 7.5 corners while 63% of their matches have had over 10.5 flag kicks. Spurs have the same record regarding corners in the Premier League.
Spurs are averaging six corners a game in the league while Monaco are averaging 4.88. We feel that 6/5 for these two sides to produce over 10 corners is a great price.
