Thinking of going with our tips? Our experts have backed their selections with data from Kickform. Let’s have a look at why they’ve gone for these wagers.
League 1-Lincoln City vs Doncaster Rovers: Lincoln to Win and Under 2.5 Goals
Sixth-placed Lincoln City host Doncaster Rovers, currently 18th in the table. Lincoln have only lost once at home in League One this season, winning four from seven, while Doncaster have lost four from seven on the road. Kickform’s predictions give Lincoln a 63% chance of winning with 1-0 and 2-0 being the most likely scorelines.
Under 2.5 goals has come up in 67% of the Imps’ fixtures and 53% of Doncaster’s. Lincoln have only scored an average of 1.20 goals per game, while Rovers have averaged 0.93. Everything points to a low-scoring home win, and that is how we think it will turn out. We think that bet365’s price of 10/3 is great value.
League 1- Port Vale vs Wycombe Wanderers: Under 2.5 Goals
Wycombe Wanderers travel to Port Vale hoping to improve their away form at the division’s second bottom side. Wycombe have the fourth worst away record in League One with only five points gained on their travels. They won’t get a better opportunity for away points; the Valiants have the worst home record in League One.
Vale have only averaged 0.73 goals per game this season. They have only found the net five times in seven home matches, with 10 goals conceded. Wanderers have a fairly healthy average strike rate of 1.47 goals per game, but only six of their 22 goals have come in their seven away fixtures.
60% of Port Vale’s matches and 47% of Wycombe’s games have brought up under 2.5 goals. According to Kickform, the three most likely scorelines are 0-1 (19%), 0-2 (13%), and 0-0 (11%). There won’t be many goals in this one, and there is little to suggest that there will be three or more.
League 2 – Milton Keynes Dons vs Salford City: BTTS – Yes
It’s fourth against fifth as Milton Keynes Dons take on Salford City in a match that looks full of goals. In 15 matches, MKD have scored 29 and conceded 17, while the visitors have scored 20 and conceded 18.
67% of MKD’s games and 53% of Salford’s games have seen over 2.5 goals scored while both teams have found the net in 67% of MKD’s matches and 60% of Salford’s. In addition, the two sides have only kept seven clean sheets between them this season. Looking at Kickform’s predictions, the two most likely scores are 1-1 and 2-1. So, we are going to stay away from the over 2.5 goals market and instead back both teams to score.
