All eyes for Monday Night Football turn to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, where Everton host high-flying Manchester United. Both teams will be more than satisfied with their season’s work so far and are looking for strong finishes in the final third to cement European qualification.
David Moyes has quietly gone about a remarkable run of games that has seen Everton lose just one of their last six. The Toffees are perched in upper mid-table, and without any worry of a relegation fight for the first time in a long time, the shackles are off, to some extent.
Monday will prove tricky, however, as Manchester United are the most in-form side in the league, picking up 16 points from their last eight games and currently on an unbeaten run of nine. Michael Carrick has turned the club around since his appointment in January, and they’re looking good value for a first return to the Champions League since 2023-24.

Bet 1: Bryan Mbeumo 1+ Shot on Target
No team has had more shots on target than Manchester United this season. Their 147 is some 15 clear of Arsenal in second, highlighting just how good they’ve been in the final third.
The most prominent threat on that frontline has been Bryan Mbeumo with 29 shots on target. The Cameroon international has slowly started to find his feet at Old Trafford, and we’re now starting to see the form that prompted the £71 million move from Brentford in the summer.
He’s only failed to register a shot on target in three out of 21 Premier League games this season, and with his team firing on all cylinders right now, odds of 8/15 look good enough to form part of this extended bet builder.
Bet 2: Luke Shaw Over 1.5 Fouls
Betting on Luke Shaw fouls stats has been one of the bankers of the season. He’s committed one or more in 22 of his 26 games and is currently on a 15-game streak. It’s quite literally been printing money at this stage.
You can get odds of 2/5 for Shaw to foul at least once, but he’s committed two or more six of his last 10 games. He’ll have a physical battle with Thierno Barry up top, James Garner breaking from midfield and Harrison Armstrong out wide, who’s a prolific foul drawer in his own right.
Odds of 2/1 for over 1.5 fouls look a huge price and the second of our Everton vs Manchester United betting tips.
Bet 3: Thierno Barry Over 0.5 Fouls
Speaking of Thierno Barry… It makes a lot of sense to combine Luke Shaw’s fouls and Thierno Barry here, given they’ll be getting well acquainted on Monday night. The Everton forward averages 1.81 fouls per 90 and has one or more in nine of his last 10 games.
Harry Maguire is also playing a key role in this bet as well. The Manchester United centre back has been fouled in each of his last five games, and his aggressive nature makes him a great pick on the fouls drawn market.
There’s merit in taking Barry at over 1.5 fouls at 7/4, but for the wider bet builder, the additional risk doesn’t really seem worth it. You can get odds as high as 4/11 for a single, but Ladbrokes are paying just 1/5. However, they are that much better priced on both Mbeumo’s shot on target and Luke Shaw over 1.5 fouls, combined, this is the best bookie for the bet.
Bet 4: Both Teams to Score – Yes
There are some alarming figures to suggest that both teams will score on Monday night. Everton have failed to keep a clean sheet in nine of their 13 home matches and each of their last five. Man United haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of their 13 away matches this season, but have scored in each of their last 14 home and away.
The BTTS stats are also in our favour here, with Everton landing in 54% of their home games and Man United a staggering 92% of their away games. Odds of 13/20 look pretty solid in what could be a tight game, boosting the overall bet builder to a whopping 8.09/1.
