Gianluigi Donnarumma looks set to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer after the Italian goalkeeper was left out of the squad for the UEFA Super Cup final against Tottenham Hotspur. And looking at the latest Donnarumma transfer odds it looks as though the two Manchester clubs could compete for his signature.
Gianluigi Donnarumma Next Club Odds
Despite playing a vital role in PSG’s Champions League win last season it appears that Donnarumma is surplus to requirements at Parc des Princes. The arrival of Lucas Chevalier from Lille has suggested that Luis Enrique wants to move in a different direction in the goalkeeping department. And with Donnarumma’s contract set to expire in the summer of 2026 it makes financial sense to move the 26-year-old on this summer.
But where will the Italian end up when the transfer window closes? Check out the latest Donnarumma transfer odds.

Let’s look at the Euro-winning custodian’s potential destinations for the 2025/26 campaign.
Manchester United: Red Devil Switch for Donnarumma?
After the disappointment of last season Manchester United have made moves to back boss Ruben Amorim in a bid to get the club competing at the right end of the table again.
And having strengthened his forward line Amorim is now turning his attention to the midfield and the defence. It is fair to say that André Onana’s move to Old Trafford has not been a roaring success and Donnarumma could be the man to bring confidence and authority to the Man United backline.
Will Donnarumma be willing to leave the Champions League winners for a club which cannot offer European football this season? The events of this summer suggest that he could be tempted to. As the transfers of Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo have proved, Manchester United still have a lot of pull, especially if they can pay top wages. And the challenge of the Premier League may well entice Donnarumma. We think that this is a possibility.
Manchester City: Gianluigi to be Singing the Blues?
Donnarumma has been admired inside Manchester City for a long time. However, they have just completed the signing of James Trafford, who boss Pep Guardiola rates highly, from Burnley and have spent on other positions.
That said, should Ederson leave this window then it might make sense to recruit an experienced number one which would allow City to develop Trafford steadily. We think that there is mileage in this one, bet365 has City as favourites at the time of writing, but should Ederson remain at the Etihad then it probably won’t happen.
No French Leave for Shot Stopper: Could Donnarumma Stay at PSG?
We think that this looks extremely unlikely. New arrival, the highly promising 23-year-old Lucas Chevalier, appears to be Luis Enrique’s choice as number one. And the omission of Donnarumma from the squad for the UEFA Super Cup final against Tottenham speaks volumes. He could simply run his contract down, however, with the World Cup next summer, we think that this won't happen.
Donnarumma to Chelsea: London Calling for ‘Keeper?
Is there a top player that Chelsea are not linked to when they become available? After the departures of Djordje Petrovic and Kepa Arrizabalaga it appears as though Robert Sánchez is set to start the season with the gloves. However, Sanchez has made a few errors during his time at Stamford Bridge and Donnarumma would be seen as an upgrade. This move could happen, however, at the moment other destinations look more likely.
