Manchester United host Everton at Old Trafford on Monday night as Ruben Amorim’s side look to make it an impressive five wins from five at home. If results go their way, they have the chance of jumping into the Champions League spots and extending their unbeaten run to six games, the longest streak since he took charge 12 months ago.
David Moyes’ Everton side will be buoyed after a 2-0 home win over Fulham last time out ended a three-game winless run. Their away form has been of some concern, picking up just four points from five games on the road, but a win on Monday could leapfrog Man Utd in the table as they strive for Premier League security.

Bet 1: Manchester United to Win – 4/5
Everton have a shocking record against Manchester United, winning just twice (7D, 13L) in the last 10 years. The numbers don’t improve when they visit Old Trafford either and are without a win in their last 12 visits. Four draws and eight defeats in that period, and their last win coming back in December 2013, suggests that the writing might well be on the wall.
Even if the Toffees had a half-decent record here, it would still be hard to back them on Monday night. Amorim finally seems to be getting a tune out of his team, winning four home games in a row, scoring 11 goals across those games, and looking like a team on the up for the first time in his tenure.
Odds of 4/5 are on the short side, and when we compare them to the Kickform predictions for Manchester United vs Everton, they suggest we ideally want closer to even money with a 42% chance of winning. But we both agree that Manchester United are favourites to win, and if you can find even money closer to kick off, jump all over it. For now, 4/5 is fine for the first part of our bet builder.
Bet 2: Total Home Goals – Manchester United Over 1.5 – 8/11
Total home goals is a pure numbers game. Man Utd have scored over 1.5 goals at home in four of their five games at Old Trafford and each of their last four. They’ve even covered it in their previous two away games, such has been the improvement in the final third.
Away from home, Everton have conceded two or more in three out of their five games. They’re about mid-table in terms of goals shipped on the road, but they’re coming up against one of the best attacking teams in the league right now, scoring 15 in their last eight, bettered only by Manchester City.
Kickform stats have an 80% strike rate for Man Utd to score over 1.5 goals, which should be priced at 1/4, so getting 8/11 is a huge price, and one we’re all over.
Bet 3: Bryan Mbeumo to Score Anytime – 19/10
It’s no coincidence that Man United’s uptick in form has coincided with Bryan Mbeumo finding his goalscoring boots. He was a big-money summer transfer from Brentford, and to be fair, has taken a while to get up to speed at Old Trafford. However, four goals in his last four games have boosted his goalscoring stats no end, and he is one of the most in-form players in the league as a result.
Odds of 19/10 are a little shorter than we’d probably like here, but that seems to be a common theme on the goalscorer markets, even with the best betting sites, so we take what we can get.
Bet 4: Iliman Ndiaye Over 2.5 Tackles – 23/20
Ndiaye epitomises all that’s good about David Moyes’ Everton side. His relentless work rate off the ball on the right-hand side has made the Senegalese international one of the first names on the team sheet.
He’s not just all huff and puff, either. He’s got five goal contributions (four goals, one assist) in 11 starts, which, from right midfield, is a fantastic return. But it’s the tackle market that’s caught our eye for the final part of our Manchester United vs Everton bet builder.
Ndiaye's tackle stats show that he’s made 28 tackles so far this season (12th most in the league), averaging 2.75 per game. Those numbers have jumped recently as well, clearing the over 2.5 tackle line in four of his last five, with no game fewer than two this season, showcasing incredible consistency. Priced at 23/20 for over 2.5 tackles is another big price and goes straight into the bet builder.
