Bet 1: Everton vs Crystal Palace – Iliman Ndiaye Over 1.5 Tackles (8/11)
Iliman Ndiaye has really caught our eye with his tackle stats. The Senegalese international was bought for his attacking output on the right, but his work rate has been one of the standout parts of his game, and it is why David Moyes has given him a new lease of life since he took charge.
He’s averaged 2.1 tackles per game this season, and has covered the 1.5+ spread in five of his last six games, and 14 of his last 20 overall. This should be a tough game for Everton, as Palace look to continue their impressive unbeaten run, meaning Ndiaye will have to dig in if they are to get something. Odds of 8/11 for over 1.5 tackles is a strong price to kick off our Premier League acca tips.
Bet 2: Brentford vs Manchester City – Erling Haaland to Score Anytime (4/6)
If Haaland was ever actually “away” it’s safe to say the Norwegian is now very much “back”. He’s scored 11 goals in eight games and is in imperious form for City. His two goals mid-week weren’t enough to ensure that City came away with all three points from their Champions League trip to Monaco, but he looked on top form, with two sublime finishes.
City doesn’t have the best record against Brentford, with just three wins in the last six meetings between the two teams. They’re a little short at 8/13 for the win. So instead, we’re backing Haaland anytime goalscorer, as when he’s in this kind of form, you ride odds of 4/6 until the cows come home.
Bet 3: Aston Villa vs Burnley – Martin Dúbravka Over 3.5 Saves (8/11)
Since Dúbravka signed for Burnley from Newcastle in the summer, the Slovakian stopper has been in top form. He’s made 24 saves in six games at an average of four per game, covering the over 3.5 saves in each of his last four games.
Sunday will be another big test, as, whisper this quietly, but Villa might be turning the corner after three wins in a row in all competitions. Their attacking metrics have improved drastically, firing 20 shots on target in their last four games (5 SoT/90) with that front line finally starting to click. It could be a busy day for Dúbravka, and he’s a great price at 8/11 to make over 3.5 saves in the game.
Bet 4: Wolves vs Brighton – Brighton to Win (1/1)
It’s not looking good for Wolves. No wins in six, the (joint) lowest number of goals scored and second most conceded. It’s relegation form, and if they don’t pick up quickly, their fate will be sealed sooner rather than later.
Brighton, on the other hand, have been highly entertaining, if a little unpredictable. They have scintillating wins against Man City and Chelsea, but have also lost to Everton and failed to beat Fulham at home. However, their record against Wolves is good, losing just one of their last eight, and at even money, they’re too big to pass up here.
