Four Champions League play off second leg matches take place on Tuesday, with the prize being a place in the competition’s last 16. These four ties are a real mixed bag with some looking all but settled barring a huge upset and others hanging in the balance. We have taken these circumstances into account to produce a 20/1 acca.
UEFA Champions League Acca Tips
After keeping a close eye on the first leg action last week and analysing each team’s performance over the season domestically and in Europe, we have come up with four value bets to form a nice little acca with SBK, one of the UK's best bookies. A £10 bet will see you walk away with a £210 payout if all four of our picks prove to be correct.
| Match | Market | Odds at SBK |
|---|---|---|
| Atletico Madrid vs Club Brugge | Julian Alvarez Over 1.5 Shots on Target | 4/5 |
| Bayer Leverkusen vs Olympiacos | Alejandro Grimaldo to Score or Assist | 1/1 |
| Inter Milan vs Bodø / Glimt | Inter to Win & Over 2.5 Goals | 8/15 |
| Newcastle United vs FK Qarabag | Under 2.5 Goals | 14/5 |
| 4-Fold Acca: | 20/1 |
Odds correct at 10:00 on 23/10/2026. Odds subject to change.
Atletico Madrid vs Club Brugge: Julian Alvarez Over 1.5 Shots on Target
Atleti are strong at home and, despite an excellent performance in the second half from Club Brugge in the first leg, we think that Diego Simeone’s side will progress. We also think that Julian Alvaraz, who scored from the penalty spot in last week’s pulsating 3-3 draw, will prove to be a problem for the Brugge defence. Our Kickform stats show that Alvarez has five goals and two assists in eight Champions League matches. He also has a record of 1.75 shots on target per 90 minutes in the competition. In La Liga Alvarez averages 1.27 shots on target per 90 minutes. In the first leg he registered two shots with both hitting the target. We are starting our SBK acca by backing Alvarez to work the goalkeeper at least twice.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Olimpiacos: Alejandro Grimaldo to Score or Assist
Bayer are in a strong position and are heavy favourites to go through. They will seek to gain control of the match from the outset to prevent a comeback from the Greek champions. Left wing-back Alejandro Grimaldo is likely to play a big part at both ends of the pitch. Our Kickform stats show that the Spanish international has four goals and two assists in nine Champions League appearances, an average of 0.67 per 90 minutes. We feel that evens is a good price, and we are tipping him to register a goal involvement on Tuesday evening.
Inter Milan vs Bodø / Glimt: Inter to Win & Over 2.5 Goals
Bodø / Glimt once again demonstrated their ability to get under the skin of European Football’s established order with a 3-1 win in the first leg. However, we expect last year’s beaten finalists Inter Milan to have too much for them in the San Siro. Inter may have lost at home in the Champions League to both Liverpool and Arsenal, however, they have won their other fixtures on home soil and have won 10 from 13 home matches in Serie A.
As well as backing Inter to win, we believe that there will be plenty of goals. 67% of Inter’s Champions League fixtures have seen over 2.5 goals with this increasing to 75% at home. 89% of Bodø / Glimt’s Champions League games have seen three or more goals with 100% of their away matches registering over 2.5 goals. Kickform give Inter an 80% chance of winning over 90 minutes and a 78% chance of over 2.5 goals. We agree.
Newcastle United vs FK Qarabag: Under 2.5 Goals
After Newcastle United underlined their recent improvement away from home by hitting Qarabag for six, you may think we are predicting another goal-fest. Quite the reverse. The Magpies have struggled with a heavy fixture list, and we think that Eddie Howe might shuffle his pack a little here. The Magpies boss was at pains to point out that he did not feel the tie was dead, despite the five-goal advantage.
When the home side comes into a second-leg match with a significant lead things can often be a bit dull. And although cynical Newcastle supporters might say that blowing a five-goal advantage would be the most Newcastle United thing ever, we think that the home side will do enough. Should Howe make a number of changes, Newcastle may be a little disjointed, and we could see a fairly uneventful game. We think that the odds for under 2.5 goals are tempting, especially as Kickform have two of the three most likely results down as a 1-0 Newcastle win and a 1-1 draw.
