SKN ST Polten (W) vs Chelsea (W): Chelsea to Win to Nil & Over 3.5 Goals
Chelsea, currently in second place in the Women’s Super League travel to Austria to face SKN ST Polten. Chelsea are 6th in the Champions League table after a draw and a win in their opening two fixtures while SKN are bottom of the pile having lost two matches with nine goals conceded and none scored.
Chelsea are heavy favourites and they should have enough to take all three points, boosting their goal difference in the process. After a draw away to Twente, Chelsea hit form on Matchday 2 with a thumping 4-0 win over PSG. Domestically, they have scored 15 and conceded only four in 15 games.
SKN lost 3-0 away at Lyon in their last Champions League match and were hammered 6-0 at home against Atlético Madrid on Matchday 1. We can’t see them breaching Chelsea’s rearguard and we think that the visitors will have too much for them. A comfortable away win looks on the cards.
Bayern Munich (W) vs Arsenal (W) BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals
Both Bayern Munich and Arsenal have one win and one defeat from their two Champions League matches so far. It’s likely to be a highly competitive game, and given the quality both teams have going forward, we are anticipating plenty of goals.
Bayern top their domestic league, having banged in 35 goals in 10 games. In the Champions League, BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals has come up in both of their matches. They were smashed 7-1 by Barcelona on Matchday 1 before beating Juventus 2-1 at home.
Arsenal lost 2-1 at home to Lyon before a 2-0 away win at Benfica. In eight Women’s Super League matches they have scored 18 and conceded eight, showing that they are capable of scoring goals and that their defence is not impenetrable.
The result of this one is incredibly close to call. However, we feel that 10/11 at bet365 is a fair price for both teams to get on the score sheet and for there to be three or more goals.
Man Utd (W) vs PSG (W): Man Utd to Win & Elisabeth Terland Anytime Scorer
Manchester United have two wins from two in the Champions League. They currently sit in fifth place in the Champions League and in third place in the Women’s Super League. PSG have lost both of their Champions League fixtures and are in 16th place in the table with six goals conceded and only one scored. They are currently second in their domestic league.
Elisabeth Terland has scored seven goals in six Champions League appearances this season. All of her goals have come in the qualifying phase and we are backing her to get off the mark in the League phase against PSG. We also think that Man United will have too much for the visitors and will record another Champions League win.
