The beautiful Seaside and Plantation courses at Sea Island Golf Club, Georgia, play host to the RSM Classic, the final event of the PGA Tour’s fall-swing. With a $7 million purse and 500 FedEx Cup points up for grabs, it provides the last chance for players to lock up their full cards for next season, and those inside the 100 to make moves while the big boys put their feet up.
It may be considered a lesser-filed tournament, but the 2025 field still includes major champions, former FedEx Cup winners and multi-tournament winners from the PGA Tour.
With the betting markets opening for the favourites at around 20/1 it creates a fascinating puzzle to solve. But solve we must, as our tips and predictions for the RSM Classic 2025 go live.

Bet 1: Brian Harman to Win – 25/1 Unibet
It’s a home tie for Brian Harman this week, who lives on Sea Island and is our pick at 25/1 with Unibet to get the job done. He’s a strong supporter of the tournament, appearing in 13 of the last 14 events, but is surprisingly still winless here.
We’ve seen Harman just once at the DP World India Championship since the end of the Tour Championship, and he’ll be looking to finish a steady 2025 off in style. The lefty has five top 25 finishes at Sea Island and is in good form, with six top 25 finishes in his last seven starts on the PGA Tour.
It’s a course well-suited. Get the ball in play off the tee, and putt like a god. The rest, for the most part, is a crap shoot. But that’ll suit Harman. He’ll be one of the favourites this week and we’re happy to get on board.
Bet 2: Mackenzie Hughes Top 10 – 13/2 Spreadex
It’s been a mixed bag for Canadian Mackenzie Hughes in 2025. He’s lacked consistency and failed to build on a brilliant 2024, making six top-10 finishes. The irons haven’t been kind, losing strokes to the field in over half his starts.
The short game, on the other hand, has been elite, gaining 1.5 strokes around the green (ARG) and 0.9 strokes putting (PUTT). He’s also got an excellent record in the RSM Classic, with three top fives in his last four outings, not forgetting his breakout win in 2017.
What’s promising for Hughes is that it’s not like the driver and irons have been woeful all season, gaining 2+ strokes for approach in five tournaments so far. Often with golf betting, it’s a horses-for-courses scenario, and that’s exactly what we’ve got here. He’s a big price for a top 10 at 13/2 with Spreadex and the second of our RSM Classic 2025 predictions.
Bet 3: Taylor Montgomery Each Way – 125/1 Spreadex
If ever there are going to be long shot 100/1+ winners, it’s in these mixed events, and we can’t pass up that opportunity to win some serious cheese at this week’s RSM Classic. Our pick? Only the second-best putter on Tour, Taylor Montgomery.
The American has had a solid second half of the season. Tied for second in the Utah Championship, a tournament that he should have won with a 54-hole lead, plus sixth at the Sanderson Farms Championship at the start of October, show signs of life.
His putting and short game stats are off the charts. He’s gaining 2.5 strokes putting and 1.7 around the green – short game wizardry. But the reality is that he misses more greens and fairways than most, which generally boosts these metrics.
That said, he’s done well at the RSM Classic in the past. Tied 8th in 2023 shows that he knows how to navigate both courses. Odds of 125/1 are huge, and you can add a bit of protection by taking him each-way with Spreadex (paying top 5 at ¼ odds).
