The F1 season gets underway with the Australian Grand Prix, and we have picked out some great value bets for the weekend.
Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix Best Bets
We have kept a close eye on things since the end of the 2025 season and have monitored developments from the teams and drivers. Mercedes look to be coming into the season strongly and George Russell is favourite for both the Drivers’ Championship and for the race at Albert Park. Our guide brings you the latest odds.
However, we have explored alternative options to find value and we have come up with three great bets from some of the top F1 betting sites.
| Market | Odds | Bookmaker |
|---|---|---|
| Charles Leclerc to Win | 9/2 | Spreadex |
| Lewis Hamilton to Make Podium | 6/4 | BoyleSports |
| Oliver Bearman to Finish in the Points | 11/10 | 10bet |
Odds correct at 09:00 on 04/03/2026. Odds subject to change.
Charles Leclerc to Win
Charles Leclerc has a strong record at the Australian Grand Prix with a win in 2022 and a second place in 2024. Leclerc achieved seven podium finishes in the 2025 season. He clearly finds the Albert Park circuit to his liking, and we feel that the Ferrari car, especially given the recent improvements made, will go well on this track. Leclerc posted the fastest time in each of the sessions at this year’s Bahrain testing and could be set for a big season. Favourite George Russell, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, and World Champion Lando Norris will all make strong challenges, but we feel Leclerc can come out on top. The Monegasque is one of the leading drivers when it comes to qualifying, showing that he can make a fast start. We are tipping him to make a quick start to the 2026 season as a whole, and we feel that odds of 9/2 with Spreadex, one of the best bookmakers in the UK, holds great value.
Lewis Hamilton to Make Podium
This could be the year that Lewis Hamilton springs back into contention at the sharp end. 2025 was not a good year for Ferrari or for Hamilton, who finished the season in sixth position in the Drivers’ Championship, one place behind teammate Charles Leclerc. However, things have improved with Ferrari excelling in Bahrain testing and Hamilton, who has one win and five second places at Albert Park since 2015 is looking like a strong contender to get on the podium. We think that 6/4 at BoyleSports is a decent price.
Oliver Bearman to Finish in the Points
20-year-old Briton Oliver Bearman had a highly encouraging rookie season in 2025, finishing 13th in the Drivers’ Championship. Bearman will be looking to build on this in 2026, and the Haas driver will be hoping that he is able to impress enough to earn a spot at a leading team for 2027. Bearman achieved nine top 10 finishes last season and impressed at this year’s Bahrain testing. 10bet are offering 11/10 for him to start the season with a points finish and we think that this is an encouraging price.
