Can Las Vegas make the Formula One title race exciting again? After dominant weekends in Mexico and Brazil, the street circuit could either strengthen Lando Norris’s grip on the championship or throw a serious twist into the battle. Both Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen know that Norris does not feel fully comfortable around this track, meaning we could be in for a thrilling race. We have searched through the best online bookies to find you the best odds ahead of the weekend.

Surprisingly, Max Verstappen has been installed as favourite for this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix. The four-time world champion arrives with a fresh power unit and should be able to match the pace of the McLarens, with Betfred pricing him at 7/4.

Although Norris is in superb form, the momentum could shift against him in Las Vegas. The circuit has never suited him or his car. Norris retired on debut and finished only sixth here last year despite being in the title hunt.

The bookmakers have certainly made a note of that. Despite back-to-back wins in Mexico and Brazil, Norris has been priced at 11/4 with BetMGM.

Las Vegas Grand Prix: Who Could Spring a Surprise?

Fast straights, tight corners and heavy braking zones make the Las Vegas street circuit a classic city layout that demands a well-balanced car. Drivers need maximum top speed for the long straights and enough downforce for the sharp corners.

When the sun sets over the desert, temperatures fall quickly, meaning drivers have repeatedly struggled to get heat into the tyres.

Cooler conditions have tended to favour Mercedes this season. The car suffers from overheating tyres and excessive degradation when track temperatures rise.

George Russell won his first race of the year in Canada and also enjoyed a second-place finish over in Baku.

Mercedes were boosted by the conditions in Brazil last time out, and The Silver Arrows may once more benefit from the climate in Nevada.

Las Vegas Grand Prix Prediction: Lewis Hamilton Outside the Top 6

Lewis Hamilton has only finished inside the top six once in his last five races, and the seven-time champion has already written off his season. Confidence has ebbed away, and his performances reflect that.

His longer-term record does not provide much optimism either. Only three top six finishes in his last ten races show clearly that he has not settled into the Ferrari yet.

Las Vegas could expose Ferrari further in this Formula One season. On pure top speed the Scuderia are currently the weakest of the four front running teams and the long straights in Nevada could make life difficult for Hamilton again.

Prediction: Lewis Hamilton to finish outside the top six
