History of Sha Tin Horse Racing
Built-in 1978, the Sha Tin Racecourse is one of the only two racecourses for horse racing in Hong Kong. The Sha Tin Racecourse witnesses 474 races per Horse Racing Season, and comes with a seating capacity of 85,000, 20 Stables, and the capacity to house 1,260 horses.
