Is it Possible to Bet on WWE?
This is the first question which comes to most people’s minds when thinking about betting on WWE events. It understandable, but thanks to WWE keeping all outcomes top secret, operators and punters can’t predict any final outcomes.
So yes, you can bet on WWE wrestling. Bookies remain cautious however, and will often set low maximums, there is still great value on betting on the WWE Crown Jewel, if you know where to find it.
WWE Crown Jewel 2022
WWE Crown Jewel will be contested at Mrsool Park in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, the same location which hosted the inaugural competition. This year will see some great matchups including the brawl for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship currently held by Roman Reigns.
Thanks to its staging in Saudi Arabia, the timing of the event is much more favourable for British punters. The pre-show for the event is set to start at 4pm GMT with the show proper, starting at 5pm GMT. Great news for all UK in-play betting fans.
The match card includes 5 fights with 17 pro wrestlers set to take part. The matches are as follows:
The Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
This single match will see ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns defend his title against YouTube star and WWE new boy Logan Paul. Paul has impressed so far in his first 2 match, and this will definitely be one to watch. Reigns is heavy favourite to come out on top.
Six Man Tag Team Match
The next match is between The O.C. (which have just reformed for the first time since April 2020) and The Judgement Day. The O.C consists of AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson while The Judgment Day is made up by Finn Bálor, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio (with Rhea Ripley). This 6-man tag team match will surely throw up some surprises!
Lashley’s Revenge on Lesnar
During SummerSlam Brock Lesnar attacked Bobby Lashley ultimately causing Lashley to lose his United States Championship title. They later fought with Lashley coming out on top. This will be their third official confrontation in WWE
Steel Cage Match
Everyone loves a cage fight. One of the most iconic concept matches in WWE, we’ll see Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross (with Scarlett). We’ve seen these 2 fight once before at the 2022 Extreme Rules, when Kross beat McIntyre with some dodge tactics from Scarlett. McIntyre is favourite to beat his foe.
Monster vs Giant
The final match is a classic SmackDown vs RAW match, SmackDown’s ‘The Monster of all Monster’ Braun Strowman faces ‘The Giant’ Omos (with MVP) from RAW. This will be the first time the 2 fighters will officially step in ring together. Strowman is set as favourite to win the tie.

Tips & Strategies for WWE Betting
WWE is unlike any other sport, due to the fact that it’s all scripted. Researching statistics and form won’t do you any good for this type of bet. The event is completely unpredictable as it’s decided by producers.
However, there is one way which can give you better odds when betting. That is keeping up to date with the storyline. Predicting a wrestling match with knowledge of the storyline could help you predict any curveballs or plot twists, greatly enhances your odds.
