Our favourite thing about the 2025 British Masters odds? The field is wide open, and the bookies haven’t quite figured out who’ll sink the winning putt. But we think we’ve got a clear shot at it with three fantastic value picks.

British Masters Winner Tips
Most Likely: Matt Fitzpatrick to Win British Masters (12/1)
Fitzpatrick’s consistency is unmatched among the announced players for this tournament. And golf, if you can keep your performance steady, that counts for everything. Sure, his last big win came back in 2023 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship (he even took the pro-am with his mother, heartwarming stuff), but with solid showings at the Wyndham (T8), The Open (T4), Genesis Scottish Open (T4), and The Rocket Classic (T8), he’s very much on the upswing.
With a field here that’s less cutthroat than many other PGA Tour stops, there’s no one in the top 30 rankings here to outclass him like we saw in the US Open, he could take the title simply by maintaining his quality. And the craziest part? Even as favourite, Fitzpatrick is sitting at 12/1. You don’t need our returns calculator to know a tenner would net a whopping £120 if he lifts the trophy.
Best Value: Marco Penge to Win British Masters (19/1)
No one who watched Marco Penge gut out a victory at the Danish Golf Championship could deny that he’s broken through to another level. Strong finishes at the BMW International Open (T11) and Genesis Scottish Open (T2) were just the blueprint, his wins at the Hainan Classic and Furesø Golfklub proved he’s the finished article. After years of languishing deep in the 200–300 rankings, he’s finally a player capable of winning top events.
With superb driving and putting, and the intestinal fortitude to go the distance under immense pressure, it’s a wonder he isn’t the favourite. Sure, he’s a bit of a see-saw player, up one moment down the next, but we think we’ll see the best of him in this environment. And if he shows up with his A game, there’s every chance he could win the British Masters. It’s certainly much more likely than the 19/1 odds from bet365 suggest.
Best Long-Shot: Dan Brown to Win British Masters (66/1)
Oh bet365, you do spoil us. Not only do you dish out some of the best free bets and promos in the UK, but your odds sometimes border on bonkers. Case in point: Dan Brown at 66/1.
He’s had a breakout season, bagging victory at the BMW International in July and landing seven top-20s on the DP World Tour, including one in Scotland last week. Plus, his accuracy off the tee is custom made for the narrow fairways of The Belfry. Put simply, he’s a proven threat on every step of this year’s tour and the bookies are not giving him his just desserts. Well, joke’s on them, because we’re ready to scoop up these delicious 66/1 value odds.
