FIFA Club World Cup Semi-Finals Predictions

Bet 1: Fluminense vs Chelsea – Chelsea to Win & Both Teams to Score (3/1)

Chelsea looks to have the edge here thanks to red-hot form and deep experience in international tournaments.

Their quarter-final win over Palmeiras was a textbook execution, showcasing a disciplined gameplan that will worry any opponent left in the tournament. And let’s not forget their Europa Conference League run, where they brushed aside Benfica, Liverpool, and Real Betis—scoring three or more in each.

Fluminense have been no slouches either. Marinelli and Hercules were electric in stopping Al Hilal’s charge, and sixth place in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A is no joke. But Chelsea already proved they can handle top-tier Brazilian opposition. By just every metric, The Blues have the advantage, and those 7/10 odds (58.8% implied probability) look at least 10% undervalued.

As for Both Teams to Score? It’s simple. Chelsea have scored in 9 of their last 10. Fluminense? 8 of their last 10. 1/1 on BTTS with those stats is a gift.

Put them together and you’ve got a superb 3/1 value bet that hangs together as prettily as a picture.

Bet 2: PSG vs Real Madrid – Real Madrid or Draw & Kylian Mbappé to Score or Assist (5/4)

Unlike many of our recommendations, we totally get why PSG are favourites. Before that, they stormed to the Ligue 1 title with 92 goals, obliterated Inter 5-0 in the Champions League final and cruised past Reims 3-0 to lift the French Cup. Throw in scalps taken from Arsenal to Liverpool, and you’ve got a team of true international dream killers.

So why back Real Madrid? Simple: they rarely lose big international games.

Los Blancos have won the Club World Cup a record five times, never losing a final. Their Champions League record? 15 titles, only three finals losses in history. In fact, the last time they were beaten in a European final, Adam and the Ants were topping the charts.

But we’re not just backing them for the sake of history. Their 3-2 quarter-final win over Dortmund, featuring last-minute heroics, a red card, and wild drama, showed they’re still built for the big stage. This might not be the most dominant Madrid team ever, but with Mbappé up front and Gonzalo Garcia in red-hot form, they’re as dangerous as anyone.

That’s why 4/7 odds (63.6% implied probability) on Real Madrid to win or draw feels so undervalued. PSG have to settle the score with the most successful international club ever in 90 minutes. We’d give them at 20% chance at best.

Now, speaking of Mbappé—this one’s pure maths.

He netted 31 goals in 34 La Liga games last season, a staggering 91.1% strike rate. He’s been used sparingly in this tournament but made the difference against Dortmund. And now, facing his old club PSG? You bring out your biggest weapon. If he’s on the pitch, and we think he will be, the numbers say he scores. Simple as that.
