Wimbledon is firmly underway, Aryna Sabalenka has been steamrolling every opponent she’s faced, and while Laura Siegemund has been solid so far, she could be in for the same treatment.

We’re serving up a few aces with the best odds and tips for Wimbledon betting during the upcoming quarter-final. But first, what do the bookies think about who’s going to progress:

Laura Siegemund11/1Betway

The WTA world number one is, as ever, dominating the competition in the early rounds. The Belarusian hasn’t dropped a single set in four matches so far. Her odds reflect that, but she has had three tiebreakers along the way.

That includes victories over Elise Mertens, ranked 23rd, British No. 1 Emma Raducanu, and Marie Bouzkova, all of whom are higher ranked than her quarter-final opponent.

Laura Siegemund has had an equally impressive run so far, having not dropped a set yet either. She’s even faced tougher opposition, in the form of the 6th seed Madison Keys, the 29th seed Leylah Fernandez, and world No. 36, Peyton Stearns.

If anyone can deliver an upset, it’s clearly Siegemund. Her form is outstanding, but can she muster up enough willpower to beat Sabalenka? It’s a tough call for sure.

Let’s get to the tips. The bookies have Sabalenka as firm favourites, but there are still a few great selections which could give you a lot more value than a match bet.

Here are the tips, with odds from bet365:

Betting TipsOdds
Total Games 2-Way: Over 17.518/25
Match Ace Total: Over 5.54/5
Siegemund Games Won: Over 5.518/25
Set 1: Over 8.5 games18/25

Total Games 2-Way: Over 17.5

Both ladies are on top form; they’re taking names and winning games. Key to that is the fact that they’re losing games too. Sabalenka’s average number of games so far is 22 per game, while Siegemund’s is 17.5. Siegemund actually has the better record, but we expect to see a close contest.

Match Ace Total: Over 5.5

Sabalenka will be doing the heavy lifting here. The world No. 1 has already hit 18 so far, which is 4.5 per game, while Siegemund has only hit one in four matches. The key here is that Siegemund has struggled to cope against aces, and we think she’ll concede more than five throughout the match.

Siegemund Games Won: Over 5.5

Like we said, Siegemund is in excellent form, and while we don’t think she can beat Sabalenka, we definitely think she’ll give her a tough time. Also, Sabalenka’s opponents have averaged 9 sets won per match. A safe bet in our eyes.

Set 1: Over 8.5 games

Following a similar logic to the previous tips, we’re expecting a closer game than Sabalenka would like. Both players have won their first sets, and there were more than 8.5 games played in all but two of them. Our prediction would be a 6-4 win for Sabalenka, but an over 8.5 games is a much safer alternative.
