No one tell the bookies they’ve forgotten how tables work because their Premier League Top Half Finish odds are wobblier than a Jenga tower on jelly. Three teams so severely underrated means extra tasty value for us, and we’ve got a hunger on.
We’re absolutely flabbergasted by some of the Top Half Finish odds out there. A few are completely upside down and back to front, leaving a smorgasbord of value on the table. Here’s the best of the bunch.
Premier League Top Half Finish Odds
| Top Half Finish | Odds | Return from £10 |
|---|---|---|
| Leeds United | 10/1 | £110 |
| Everton | 7/4 | £27.50 |
| Crystal Palace | 6/4 | £25.00 |
*Odds correct as of 10:57am 13/8/2025
We reckon all of these are absolute belting value bets. The best part? You can mix and match however you like. Pick a single bet that suits your prediction, back all three for a potential £162.50 from a trio of tenners, or go full throttle on an acca for a whopping £756.25 from just a tenner.
Bet 1: Leeds United To Shock The World?
You don’t need our in-depth Premier League stats (though they certainly can’t hurt) to know that the last two seasons saw all three promoted teams go down. That’s why Leeds United are flying under the radar here. Don’t get us wrong, we’re not saying Leeds are very likely to produce a top-half finish, but it’s far more possible than the bookies seem to think.
Leeds were brilliant in last year’s Championship, topping the table with 100 points. Burnley matched them, sure, but Leeds’ more attacking style should give them extra flexibility in the Premier League. The transfer window looks promising too, with midfielder Bilal El Khannouss potentially joining ranks already boosted by Sean Longstaff and Anton Stach.
In short, if transfers go to plan and Leeds maintain the consistency that won them the Championship, there’s a solid shot at a top-half finish. We’d peg it at around a 25% chance, making this a strong pick for anyone hunting long-shot outrights.
Bet 2: The Toffees to Stick a Top-Half Landing?
The big news for Everton is the signing of Jack Grealish on loan for £300,000 a week from Man City. It’s a very good deal for Everton, especially if Jack is able to recapture some of that Aston Villa magic. We think he might. He needs a team that can be built around him in a way which simply wasn’t possible at Man City. Everton can deliver that.
Even without an extra transfer sugar rush, we still reckon the Toffees are sweet enough to make the Premier League’s top half. They fell just short last season, finishing an unlucky 13th. But with so many clubs in flux, and the transfer window not going to plan for plenty of them, Everton might only need to keep things steady to slip past less organised sides and secure a solid upper-mid finish.
Bet 3: The Eagles to Soar Even Higher?
Leeds might have the potential for the biggest payouts, but this is the Premier League prediction we think is most likely. Palace seem to have forgotten about this transfer window, and the bookies reckon that means a tumble. We’re not so sure. There’s real value in stability; transfers don’t always pay off. And just look at Newcastle in 2025, thriving with minimal changes by building on a solid foundation. Palace could do the same.
The Eagles had a strong 2024-25 season, finishing 12th and even bagging a bit of silverware with the Community Shield. They were just a win away from the top half in points. If they continue to fine-tune what’s working, and a few other teams hit teething problems, top-half, or even top-six, is absolutely possible. A superb opportunity, not at all reflected in the 6/4 odds.
