Former Love Island star Adam Collard is now the red-hot favourite to win the 2025 Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins final. The last two episodes are set to air Sunday, 24th and Monday, 25th August in what has been the most gruelling series to date.
Season seven started with 14 celebrities who were whisked away to a remote location in Anglesey, Wales, to endure one of the hardest psychological and physical battles of their lives.
Under the watchful eye of directing staff (DS) Billy Billingham, Jason Fox and Rudy Reyes – all former Royal Marines – challenges have included hostage rescues, sinking boat drills and high-altitude jumps, pushing the celebs to their absolute limits.
Following Conor Benn’s withdrawal due to injury at the end of episode six, we’re now down to the final five contestants, and it's surprise package Adam Collard who is the favourite to win the Celebrity: SAS final.
But will there be a twist in the tale when a winner is crowned come Monday evening? Former Premier League footballer Troy Deeney has been one of the strongest contestants this year, with former X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan hot on their heels.

Adam Collard
It’s fair to say that Adam Collard has been a dark horse this year. The former Love Island contestant came into the show as a middle-of-the-pack filler; a celebrity that viewers of a certain age would have had to turn to Google to find out who he was.
But any stigma around him being a fame-hungry reality TV veteran has been well and truly put to bed. Collard has not only shown that he’s physically up to the task, which, given he is now a fitness coach based in Newcastle, should be no surprise, but he’s also shown incredible mental resilience and opened up about struggles with depression.
It came to a head at the end of episode six in a heartbreaking moment where he broke down in tears while discussing his fiancée Laura Woods' miscarriage.
What’s been most impressive about Collard is his ability to maintain composure during intense interrogations with the DS. He will need to take this to the next level over the final two episodes, but so far, he’s absolutely the standout celebrity and a worthy odds-on favourite.
Troy Deeney
Former Premier League footballer Troy Deeney’s time in the camp has been a lot like his playing career: steady, rather than spectacular. When the lineup was announced, he was immediately one of the favourites to win due to his background as a no-nonsense, rough and ready player back in the day.
Deeney has shown a lot of those hard-hitting attributes that got him through a tough upbringing to the top of the game as a professional. At times, he’s exposed a more vulnerable side, admitting to feeling “lost” and hopeful the show would let him expose his “good and bad” sides.
The “tear-up” with Conor Benn is one of this season's highlights. And to be fair to Deeney, he more than held his own against one of the best boxers in the world.
Deeney can win this. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him and Collard make it all the way and pass the final interrogation. Odds of 10/11 look good value.
Lucy Spraggan
It’s been a long road to the final two episodes for former X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan. She suffered a brutal harness injury on the viaduct jump (later confirming she needed surgery), but has carried on like a trooper and now looks set to qualify from the series.
She’s shown leadership without bluster and has taken on every task with controlled measure and grit. Before the start of the series, she wasn’t really a name that was in the running to win, but now she’s going to push Collard and Deeney right to the end.
We think she will get over the line. The last two episodes will be as much to do with mental strength as physical. And even though she has shown both, her decision-making under fatigue has been standout, staying calm under interrogation and even when physically shot, she kept showing up.
Bimini
Bimini was not a name that was tipped to go far on this season's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins either, but they’ve proved people wrong time and time again. The RuPaul’s Drag Race star is not a traditional “athlete” pick but has shown that mental toughness goes a long way in this game, which they’ve demonstrated in abundance.
At 6/4, they are an outside pick, but that “don’t write me off” mantra that has served them well up to now will be huge in the final. If you’re looking for an outsider or surprise package, this may be your best pick.
Michaella McCollum
Ironically, Michaella McCollum has benefited from being one half of the “Peru Two” who got arrested in 2013 for smuggling £1.5 million in cocaine. Two years in a Peruvian prison was quite a learning curve for the then 19-year-old, and it’s clear it’s done some good, showcasing extreme levels of mental toughness, often drawing parallels from her time in prison to the interrogations from the DS.
As a standalone winner, McCollum is an outside pick given the quality of the final five. But can she be part of the winning group? Absolutely. In fact, don’t write off all five making it through for the first time in the show's history.
