Love Island Betting Tips
If you’re going to put your hard graft on, you’ll need to take a few things into account when betting on Love Island, don’t just follow your heart or any other body part… we mean your gut. You need to think strategically, and we’ve got a few tips on how to do this.
Love at First Sight
In most cases, the winning couple tends to include one of the original contestants. This means that the couples that form early do better. Place a bet on Love Island couples who win the hearts of the public quickly, and you may get some pretty good returns.
Less is More
Couples who get less screen time may seem a bit boring, but boring tends to go far in these shows. Couples with a lot more screen time are more likely to be judged by the public. Love Island final betting comes down to who upset the public the least.
Back the Drama Queens
Everyone loves a bit of drama; if received well, they can become Love Island favourites, and the public will want to keep them in the Villa at all costs. Everyone remembers the legendary Italian stallion, Davide and Ekin-Su, who went on to win it. This year, Yasmin Pattet is doing well to stir some drama, so keep an eye on her.
Spot the Players
Make sure to avoid betting on a couple who seems too good to be true, or that’s almost trying too hard. Eight weeks is a long time, and couples playing the game often get derailed near the end of the show. You can bet on individual players with all our best Love Island betting sites.
Most Popular Type of Bet on Love Island
Is it the romance? The drama? Or the sheer amount of gossip that makes Love Island UK betting so great? Whatever it is, we’re here for it, and these are the most common markets you’ll find on our best novelty betting sites.
This is an outright bet on who you think will come out on top as the strongest couple. This type of Love Island winner bet isn’t that common, but it’s an interesting market, and one that can have great value, especially if the top male and top female aren’t in the same couple.
Pick who you think will be the most popular male by the end of the show. Since public opinion shifts so massively, Love Island winner odds fluctuate frequently. It makes it an interesting market, which can change rapidly. It does help if they're in a stable couple, though.
The same as top Male, but for the ladies. Bet on who you think will be the best woman in the show. The Love Island odds shift just as quickly here, so backing a woman early can be a great way to get more value out of this bet.

What Is Love Island?
Love Island is a show that brings a group of good-looking singles together to live in a lush villa and compete to be crowned the best couple. Couples compete to win the hearts of the nation, and the winning contestants get a share of a cool £50,000.
Contestants are asked to create couples at the beginning of the show, and more contestants, called Bombshells, are added to try to break up existing couples and create new ones. These happen in recouplings, and oftentimes, Islanders are left single or kicked out of the Villa.
Throughout the show, contestants are tasked with competing in a series of games and challenges, designed to test their mental and physical abilities. Winners of the challenges receive special prizes, including the opportunity to go on dates outside of the villa, and maybe even a night at the (almost) camera-free hideaway.
The show is full of drama, with contestants often going behind each other's backs to form new couples. The unpredictability makes it great telly and betting on it can be just as exciting, as you never know who’s next up for the chop.
When Is Love Island 2025?
It’s going on right now! Series 12 of Love Island began on the 9th of June and will end in around eight weeks. August 4th is the likely date so far. That means you’re still in great time to place a few Love Island bets before the islanders form strong couples.
The second season of Love Island All Stars was also contested from January to March 2025. Casey O'Gorman and Gabby Allen emerged victorious, so if you placed a Love Island bet on them in January, then fair play to you.
Where Is Love Island Held?
Love Island is set in the Sa Vinyassa Villa, in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, on the beautiful island of Mallorca. It’s a stunning location and has played host to the Islanders for eight of the last 12 seasons, including the last three in a row.
If you’re betting on Love Island, you should also know about Casa Amor, another slice of heaven, located at the nearby Alchemy Villa.

Are There Any Changes for Love Island 2025?
There’s been a few big changes that could add a bit of spice to the already steamy Love Island show. They’ve changed up the entire hideaway concept. It’s now open 24/7 for anyone who wants to use it. They’ve ditched the risqué wardrobe, for a classier look, and there’s a catch: you can’t go in with the person you’re coupled up with, meaning if you’re going to crack on, it must be with someone else.
The Islanders will also now be filmed while eating their lunch and dinner, so a huge dining table has been added - and we can’t wait to hear what a Jordie eating a wrap sounds like.
We’re also expected to see more bombshells, but we’ll believe it when we see it.
Who’s Hosting Love Island 2025?
Maya Jama is back in action for her 4th season as host of Love Island. She’s a popular choice, but the previous two hosts, Caroline Flack and Laura Whitmore, only hosted for five and three seasons, respectively. Love Island betting on next year’s host could be an interesting option.
How Can You Get on Love Island 2026?
So, you’re looking for love? Or a fat payday? It’s not too difficult to apply to join the Love Island 2026 cast. All you need to do is apply through ITV2 by filling in a form. Over 100,000 people apply each year though, and only about six make it through to the show, most of the other contestants are scouted.
The real hard part is getting the ripped bod, perfect skin and being ok with having eyes on you 24/7. We’re sticking to betting on Love Island over getting on Love Island, thank you very much.
