West End actress Amber Davies has joined Strictly Come Dancing. It has been announced that the 2017 Love Island winner will replace Dani Dyer, who had to withdraw from the hit show after suffering an ankle injury.
Amber Davies Joins Strictly: Trained Dancer and West End Star Could be a Good Bet to Win
Amber Davies will replace Dani Dyer as Nikita’s partner after the TV personality was forced to pull out following a fracture to her ankle last week. She had been second favourite to win at 9/2. Given Amber Davies’ background, she is a trained dancer and has starred in a number of West End productions, we expect her to make a strong challenge.
The current favourite is Lewis Cope, another to come into the show late after he replaced Kristian Nairn in August. Davies will be playing catch-up so it is debatable whether she will be installed as favourite immediately. If you feel that she can make up for lost time, it may be good idea to get in early once the odds are released.
