It’s Luke Littler's world, and we’re just living in it. It’s hard to come up with the superlatives around how talented this 18-year-old is, but his form throughout the 2025 World Grand Prix has been nothing short of exceptional.
It’s been one of the few tournaments that hasn’t been kind to The Nuke over his brief but highly successful career to date. The way he’s ground his opponents into submission this week has been Phil Taylor-esque. High praise, but as he heads into his ninth major final (six wins) of 2025, this is legendary form, an apex only flirted with by a select handful over the last 50 years of the sport.
He comes up against world number one, Luke Humphries, a dream scenario for darts fans, organisers and sponsors alike. The pair are by far the best in the world, but Littler being an odds-on (1/2) favourite against Humphries (13/8) says a lot about where their games are right now.

Bet 1: Luke Littler to Win
Littler dismantled Jonny Clayton in the semifinals, winning 5-1 and averaging 97.26 in the process. His performance was sublime, following up a stunning comeback in the quarterfinal against Gerwyn Price, where he trailed 2-0 to eventually beat the Iceman with some ridiculous 100+ checkouts.
Luke Humphries will, of course, be his toughest task at the 2025 World Grand Prix, at least on paper. Cool Hand Luke easily disposed of Danny Noppert in his semifinal (5-3) but has won just four out of the 10 meetings between the pair this year.
All roads lead to Rome for Littler, and his quest to become world number one will be sealed by beating the man he’s been chasing for the last 12 months.
Bet 2: Most 180s – Luke Littler
It’s been neck and neck between the pair for most 180s so far. Littler has 24 and Humphries has 25. It suggests that Humpries is the favourite for the market, albeit narrowly, but if we’re backing Littler to win, he will have to dominate the scoring.
Littler out 180’d him 7-4 in the NZ Darts Masters final, and has thrown 879 compared to Humphries’ 548 this season alone. An average of 0.46 180s per leg, compared with Humphries’ 0.32, suggests that The Nuke is the value play on Sunday.
Bet 3: Over 26.5 Total 180s
Between them, the pair fired off 24 180s in their respective semifinals, but with an extra set to play in the final and the fact that this game could go down to the wire, the over total 26.5 looks a good line to get involved with. A price of 12/5 looks huge for this market and therefore makes up the third and final part of our World Grand Prix final bet builder.
