Another week of Strictly and another week of Balvinder Sopal as the favourite for elimination. Former international sprinter Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, known as Nitro on Gladiators, exited in Week 7 after losing the dance-off to La Voix. Last week Sopal was 8/11 to go the journey ahead of Aikines-Aryeetey (3/1) with La Voix out at 8/1. However, despite an improved performance, she is once again favourite to go with bet365 pricing her at 4/7.
Strictly Odds: Next Elimination
Balvinder Sopal has constantly been among the favourites for elimination and has featured in three dance-offs so far. However, she easily went through to Week 8 as she and professional partner Julian Caillon performed a Bhangra-inspired Couple’s Choice routine to “Sapphire” by Ed Sheeran and Arijit Singh. Despite this improved performance, the bookies still view the EastEnders actress as the weakest celebrity left and have shortened her elimination odds from last week. La Voix had shown a huge improvement during Halloween Week. However, the RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star struggled last week and ended up in the dance-off.
The latest elimination odds from bet365, one of the best bookmakers in the UK, have Sopal as the clear favourite but also confirm that the pressure is back on La Voix.

Could La Voix be a Better Value Bet as Odds Shorten for Balvinder?
Balvinder Sopal is the favourite for elimination and, despite a positive performance last week, her overall level during the series suggests that her days are numbered. The price at bet365 is just about fair. La Voix’s odds look much better value. The Drag Queen was in danger a few weeks ago and, after an improvement, once again flirted with elimination last week. Despite Sopal being favourite, in the run up to Week 7 we suggested that you looked closely at Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, who was struggling and had more attractive odds. We were proved right. You may want to do the same this week and back La Voix. Sopal could well go the journey, however, we feel La Voix carries more value.
Amber Davies is third favourite to go. Her odds to be the next eliminated were 6/1 last week and are now out to 8/1. We don’t think she’ll go this time.
George Clarke is the clear favourite to win ahead of Lewis Cope. Go to our guide to betting on Strictly for further details.
